Read moreOur experience was awful. Went there this morning. Upon entering, was greeted nicely and it's very cute inside. Sign on the swinging kitchen door said something like, "Some damn good pancakes come out of this kitchen!", so I was pretty stoked because that's what we were there for. Ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatos, and pancakes to share with my 5 year old grand daughter. When the food came out, the pancakes were huge. Looked and smelled impressive. That's where the good stops...You shouldn't have to "saw" pancakes to cut them. Especially after you've already buttered them. They were so tough, that they lifted up on either side of the knife when you pressed down to attempt to cut them, and the surface didn't "break" until you literally went back and forth with the butter knife. The waitress came by to check, saw my plate pushed away and asked if everything was ok. I said no, and explained the issue. Her response? "Well, no one else has complained this morning..." No offer of a possible re-cook, no asking if I'd like to speak to a manager, just a soft apology and a shoulder shrug. My grand daughter ALWAYS eats all of her pancakes. I have to fuss at her to eat the eggs and bacon too. This morning, between the two of us, we ate less than half of one of those giant pancakes. Doesn't matter how big they are if they're crappy, and these were. The potatos were dry and shriveled as well, and also left uneaten. But, we weren't there for those. The eggs and bacon were pretty much all we ate. At the register, I didn't ask, and no offer was made, for some type of discount or compensation. We had waters, and this "meal" cost $18.00 with tax, plus a tip on top of that. Told the waitress on our way out, "No offense, but we will never...
Read moreThe restaurants was great when I first started going a year ago. Dining in was awesome a year ago, up until a few months ago when me and my son wants to go eat for breakfast. They tried to force to eat with their silverware, after telling the waitress I could not eat with silverware anymore due to me having covid last year. I no longer to eat with silverware, I explained that to the waitress and she went back to explain to management for whoever. But they still try to force me to use silverware or pay $0.50 extra for the plastic ware. That's all the waitress that I will leave before I before I pay for a plastic. They let me and my son leave when I'm about to pay $50 plus for food over not paying them $0.50 for plastic ware. So just this week I tried placing a order over the phone for pickup, the lady on the phone wanted my credit card number, I told the lady on the phone that I was paying cash once I get there. The lady on the phone to me that I have to pay with a credit card over the phone even for a pickup or I cannot place my order. Once again they lost out on money over dumb made up rules. I've spent a lot of money in this place over the year and a half that I lived over here in this area. But no longer, I don't want to go anywhere where they make up rules why they go. Very good food but very terrible customer...
