China House — Restaurant in Norfolk

We live in Kill Devil Hills, NC and theres no Chinese Restaurant worth going to , so on our way back home from airport we decided to pick up couple of dishes . I always go for my favorite which is Shrimp Chow Mein…it was so good. Usually you see lots of onions and celery but this one had a nice mix of bok choy too, the sauce was perfect.

Wonton soup was one of my best I have. The broth wasnt salty and had smooth taste. The wontons themselves weren’t weight down with ginger or allspice, perfectly seasoned.

And the Chicken and Broccoli, not sure how they make their sauces but again, one of the best sauces , wish there was actually a little more of it 😊

We will for sure be back, Id love to try their fried rice and egg rolls as well.

Just ordered from there after taking a break bc they had messed up my order before. THIS TIME when I came back up to the store to politely get my order corrected bc I had shrimp fried rice instead of pork and the chicken I was served WERE TWO DIFFERENT COLORS… two of them looked grey!! She did NOT want to replace my order and tried to correct me instead. So I kindly asked her can you just remake my wings and correct my rice and I would give the old order back but she refused and told me that she would only replace my rice bc she didn’t know what I was saying about the chicken. To add to that after refusing to remake my order she tried to short me on my refund. I had to come back again to get that corrected....

I ordered food for my family Sunday evening on China House website. I never ordered from them before and I will never order again. I read the reviews. They were complimenting. But i cant believe what I read. The food I ordered Sunday May 25th was spoiled. I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach cramps. I went to check on my other family members.
