China One Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Norfolk

The food is always good. Good portions. Reasonably priced. This week alone I have ordered two times online and both times when I got to the restaurant they hadn't even looked at the online orders. On the first time it happened I just told him not to bother to make it I didn't have time to wait. The second time it happened I waited however I would think they would try to compensate their customers who have been patient with them and who have been with them for years by taking a discount off the food they ordered or something to that effect. They have a new online ordering system now and ever since I have used this place this is twice in one week mind you that I place an order online to get there to find they hadn't even looked at it. Ordered online at 5:07 pm and specified that I wanted my food by 5:45. I felt that was a sufficient amount of time for my basic order of house fried rice and fried wontons to be prepared. I realized after I ordered that I didn’t order from the Chinese restaurant I usually frequent. I was tempted to cancel my order altogether but didn’t want to be difficult or have my food wasted because of my mistake. I arrived at 6. I didn’t get my food until almost 6:25. They handed me my order and it was missing the wontons so I had to wait another 10 minutes for the wontons. So it took over an hour to get my food and for it to be completed. Our father had a diabetic episode upon waiting for our food and we had to call 911. Staff didn't offer any assistance or to even pick up the phone to call 922. The staff was video recording on their phones as the paramedics worked on our father to keep him from going into a coma. VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!!! Our entire family wont ever return to this establishment. With all the good reviews, we decided to try out this restaurant. We were disappointed in both the food and service.
