Gourmet Gang - Headquarters — Restaurant in Norfolk

I am posting regarding the Bistro, not catering. I order lunch almost weekly from other branches and they are great. This Norfolk branch is horrible. I have had 4 out of 4 of my last delivery orders be well over an hour past the expected delivery time. The first time, I let it go. The second time, they were 1 hour 15 minutes past the expected delivery but as soon as I called, they arrived. I filed a complaint form, they called me immediately! I was super impressed by how concerned they were. But then I ordered a 3rd time and had the same issue. The order was over an hour past expected delivery time and they wouldn't let me cancel the delivery since I already knew the food would arrive cold like the last two times ... so I reached out and didn't get any return call or return email. Today, I placed an order at 9am, online. They open at 10am and it said the expected delivery would be 1023. I called at 1139 (already an hour after expected time) and was told it would be 45 more minutes because the driver was in traffic. I called 45 minutes later, still no food, no idea where the driver is. They the driver calls and ask if we will want the food - said the order got mixed up and she went home. So - where was this food? The drivers house? Sitting in her car? So the food arrived about 3.5 hours past the expected delivery time and when I called I was told, well we are busy and can't help traffic accidents. There was n accident- the driver was at home! So, for the 4th time, we received cold food, delivered ridiculously late. I tried to contact the General Manager and get partner, neither of them responded. The store "disconnected" me twice then wouldnt answer the phone. What a shame but if you have a lunch break at a certain time, I wouldn't not offer from her because you will not get your food in any...

Gourmet Gang catered my wedding in April 2022 and they were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. From the beginning, Nobie was detail-oriented and made sure to cover all aspects of catering a wedding. My mom was incredibly was impressed with their level of service, which is really saying something because she is very picky. Our guests were raving about how delicious the food was AND they made sure to feed the us. The number one concern that I had heard about weddings was that the bride and groom don't get to eat. They snuck us trays of food before the ceremony and also had plates ready for us (we did buffet style) so that we didn't have to wait in line with our guests and then could walk around visiting guests since we ate first!

We also did rentals through Gourmet Gang and they did a beautiful job setting up the tablecloths and working with our other vendors. I love Gourmet Gang and hope to use them for...

I held an event at the aquarium and Gourmet Gang is the caterer for them. I have never hosted an event of this caliber and I was nervous. The first person I was supposed to work with wasn’t working out so I was reassigned to work with Annie and it was the best thing that could’ve happened. We collaborated on the menu and I really appreciated how understanding and helpful she was in getting a menu together. Working with her was such a delight.

The day of the event I dropped of my tablecloth’s and desserts at the aquarium and when I came back for the event I was floored by how beautiful the set up was. The event staff was the absolute best of the best. They were all friendly and professional. My guests raved about the food (especially the lumpia & citrus punch) and nothing was ever empty.
