Last night was our first & last time here! We did our annual holiday gathering here and it was definitely the wrong pick. The only thing good about this place was the service we received from Darius. The food was overall for everyone 1 out of 10. I ordered medium well tuna and I could barely swallow it because it was so dry I even tried using two sauces and barely could swallow it still. Plus they were way over seasoned and salty. My sisters ordered filet mignon and was given chuck steak or roast beef. The chicken thighs were trash. The chicken in the chicken pasta was tough and way over cooked like the tuna. And everyone who had the brussel sprouts had bowel issues last night and continue into today. Then, they attempted to order green tea shots they had no peach schnapps. So the bartender continue to insist they do lemon drop shots sooooo they did and was given nothing but sugar. There were two women at the bar who let us know the bartender didn’t even put two shots of vodka in the 8 shots she was making and she charged everyone 12 a piece for a cosmopolitan which was ridiculous. We as a whole would highly recommend u and anyone else u know going here. Let me make it clear I asked for my tuna to be cooked medium well not well done and all the stuff I put on the side and loaded it on the tacos and it was still hard to swallow the tuna...

Yes, I would certainly recommend going to this place. We went this past Friday on a double date and had a good overall experience. The ambiance was definitely a date night vibe, the drinks were on point (I ordered Mango Moscato), and so was the food. I ordered the charred corn creme brulee for appetizer. For some reason I expected it to be warm, but the more I ate, the better it got until boom! It was all gone. Yummy! For my main course I ordered the salmon and quinoa dish first, but unfortunately I'm a bit picky about how I like my fish. While it was cooked well, my tastebuds wanted more seasoning on it. Fortunately, I was able to get something else and that something else was worth EVERY PENNY! I went with the bison burger and mermaid fries, oh yes I did. It was DELICIOUS!!!! The Mermaid Winery is truly an exceptional place! The venue and vibe are amazing—cozy, inviting, and meticulously designed with seasonal decorations that add to the charm. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and intimate evening.

The wine, of course, was incredible. The flights were generous and offered a wide variety. As a fan of red wine, I absolutely loved the Requiem Cabernet—it was outstanding. The food was just as impressive. The Gentleman’s Cut might be the best pork and potatoes I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned with great portions. The Chicken Pasta was also delicious, with excellent flavor and portion sizes.

The service was impeccable. The staff consistently checked on us, made us laugh, and gave fantastic wine recommendations, which made the experience even better.
