I was on a business trip. I left my suitcase behind by accident, had only the clothes on my back. They were right next to the hotel. Unfortunately, Im not an easy size, 6’4, 300lbs - skinny bottom, hefty on top. So, I have to hope for a lucky/iffy department store find, or get custom. But, on the fly, custom isnt an option… I have a huge meeting to attend - can’t gamble here.

I walk in, explain my issue to Mr. Tucker. He said he would take care of it immediately. Didnt even touch a measuring tape, just plucked a jacket off the rack - fit like a glove. Impressive! Even more so, sleeves were a tad long (a layman would never notice), he said Josh would take care of it, come back in the morning. I come in the next day, they had a whole suit ready for me. Wild. Bonkers. Next day, tailored suit? In the city??? Unheard of. It wasn’t slow, either: while Josh was getting the fine tunes done, he had wedding prospects in there, lady getting a skirt-suit, other people getting fitted - like they were WORKING. I cant get a dry cleaning or a mild adjustment in my city in under 3 days, let alone a semi-custom. They even make their own ties!

10/10! Next time I step foot in Norfolk, I owe them a full order.

Cheapest? Id put it at “fair”, and worth the price…but the value? Unmatched on the whole east coast. The service? No contest. Professionalism? Absolutely. They knocked it out of the park.

August 2nd I married my forever ♾️ and Details on Granby delivered the goods!! Planning a wedding is extremely stressful and difficult and I was going through the motions trying to find a tuxedo to rent. I’m very picky and I hated all my options. As it started to get close to crunch time, my now father-in-law asked what do I think of getting a custom tailored made tuxedo. It was now June and I’m basically two months away and I said yeah let’s do that. So he got me a time slot with the owner and when I say they were the most joyous and wonderful people I ever met! They took their time with me… let me pick out my fabric and design to make sure the tux was too my satisfaction. They also jumped in with their many years of knowledge and professionalism to help me thru some things that could been awful mistakes if we decided to go particular routes which was worth more than money could buy!! Tuxedo was promptly delivered and when I say my tuxedo was the star of the show when it came to me as a groom!! Man Listen!! When I first found the store, I was impressed by the variety, customer service, and professionalism the gentlemen exhibited to their customers... in theory. In practice, Details is the complete contradiction of their very name. I ordered a gift, paid extra for expedited shipping, re-confirmed the destination address at least 3 times with the owner, and 1) the package was not delivered to said address, 2) after identifying the issue, he did not rectify the situation by reimbursing the costs or forwarding the package to its correct address, and 3) backtracked on what was agreed upon for our contract/point of sale. Despite their collection, I will not do business with Details on Granby...
