I came to try some drinks today while waiting for my order at Slide Thru #FAM right next door. Shout out for being so close to one another that I don't even have to think about it. Today I tried both the dirty chai latte and the oolong lavender cocktail because why get only one drink when you have two hands to carry both? I mean, right? Well first of all, I absolutely loved the staff there. They were both so sweet and kind to me, answered all of my awkward questions that I had about the kind of coffee and drinks they sold, which ones were their favorites, their hours, etc. I was an awkward mess guys, but they made me feel like I was normal for once. So that's a HUGE plus in my book. Secondly, BOTH drinks were pretty darn amazing, and I now know what I'm going to get almost every single day of my working career since they are a mere few feet away from my office - literally next door in Selden Market. Thank you, thank you so much for being so kind and having delicious drinks. I saved my peanut butter treat for later because lunch. But I think I'm going to have that now... it's about that time.
Seriously check out their store. Try every single drink, every single food item. Try everything....
Read moreThis coffee shop is an absolute gem, and I’m already counting down the days until my next visit. First off, the vibe here is effortlessly cool—think warm lighting, cozy seating, and just the right amount of buzz. Whether you're here to get some work done or catch up with a friend, it’s the perfect spot to settle in. I ordered the deconstructed smoked salmon bagel $15, which was both visually stunning and incredibly fresh. The sesame bagel was toasted to perfection, the smoked salmon was buttery and flavorful, and the spread tied everything together with a creamy finish. The pickled onions and roasted tomatoes added a bright contrast, and the crispy kale was an unexpected but welcome crunch. To drink, I went with an oat milk cappuccino $5, and let me tell you—it was elite. The espresso had a smooth, rich depth, and the oat milk foam was perfectly airy. You can tell they take their craft seriously here, and I appreciated every sip. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and top-tier food and drinks, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Five stars,...
Read moreThe barista was helpful and knowledgeable (I'm not sure what her name was; pretty brunette lady). I've just begun roasting my own coffee and was curious what types of beans they use etc. They offered me a sample of their batch roast (a blend of primarily Nicaraguan and some columbian as the barista said) and it was delicious. I would have ordered a latte, or some kind of milk drink, but I was with my family and didn't want to keep them waiting, so I just had a small coffee. The prices on everything were very modest and the coffee I had was fresh and delicious. So much better than Starbucks or other "commodity " type coffees. Highly...
