Well, we wanted to like it but unfortunately its all about the food. We're new to the area and enjoy good restaurants but you can safely scratch this one off that list.
From the obviously pre frozen raviolis to the store bought pasta to the canned sauces to the cheap cuts of meat, its not a place to spend your money.
We should have known from the start when we were informed that they were out of many staples of the menu. But, we were already seated and decided to give it a go.
The waitress was very nice and polite and deserved the nice tip we left her. The tip was solely for her hard work and not for the cafeteria level quisine.
The stroganoff barely had any "beef"(if it was beef) and what it did have was as tough as shoe leather. The "lobster" ravioli was definately microwaved and then tossed in a disgusting attempt at a sauce & the pizza (with prefrozen crust) was thrown together by somone that doesn't understand the words "flavor profile".
Bottom line: Don't waste your time and money. There are far better choices for Italian food in the Norman area. Oh well. You...
Read moreI've literally had better frozen Italian food than this. Just absolutely the most mediocre Italian I've tried anywhere. Another location that's proof Oklahomans have terrible taste in food. This place, and Taramahahahas get recommended by everyone, and they both absolutely suck. Lasagna was the worst lasagna I've had on this planet. Stouffer's frozen lasagna is ten times better and half the price. Any Italian from the East Coast would spit this food out and laugh that's it's called Italian. The pizza is laughably terrible. Crust is flavorless, sauce is bland, and the cheese isn't fresh in any way. The chicken parm was terrible. Dried out overcooked, burnt crust chicken smothered in Ragu from the jar. My water was the highlight of our meal. The decor is low rent flea market, dirty, smells like mildew, and the tables aren't clean. Menus under glass. This place couldn't get any more low class if they tried. All of that would be fine if the service and food were acceptable. They aren't. Also, it took over an hour for food, never got a refill, and there was 1...

One dish that I highly recommend is the calamari. It's crispy on the outside and soft and juicy with every bite. It's a classic appetizer that's done to perfection at this restaurant.
But if you're in the mood for something a bit more substantial, the egg benedict is definitely worth trying. It's a staple of any good brunch menu, and this restaurant does it exceptionally well. The eggs are perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce is rich and creamy. It's a dish that I could eat every weekend, and I may or may not have done just that on my last visit.
Overall, this establishment is a great choice for anyone in the mood for some delicious Italian cuisine. The cozy atmosphere, tasty calamari, and superb egg benedict make it a no-brainer. Just be prepared to leave feeling satisfied and full – it's worth it....
