The G.O.A.T Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in North Adams

I have literally never written a review before, but this place was so bad, I really feel the need to. We were seated, our waitress walks over and just stares at us. No “hey guys how’s it going? My name’s __ I’ll be your server tonight....”. So I feel awkward and uncomfortable. Besides that, we waited 40 minutes for our curly fries and mozzarella sticks to come out. The curly fries were cold. Another 20 minutes goes by and we finally get our food (Caesar salad, small pulled pork nachos). The salad was warm, croutons were soggy, and 2 slices of chicken was an extra $4 which is outrageous for fake frozen food. The nachos were over cooked, had very little toppings (lettuce, cheese, etc) and more disappointingly, the pork was over cooked and dry and there was MAYBE 4 teaspoons of the stuff. We didn’t eat more than 3 bites of the nachos. When she offered a box for them, we declined because we didn’t want them— they were nasty. Instead of taking them off the tab because we hated them and the service was SO bad, she left them on and I paid $10 for something I waited an hour for, was cold, over cooked, and had almost no pork. No apologies made or alternate options offered for our situation…. Such rude service. Will not be backWaited 45 minutes for food after being told to wait about 35… then to be told at 45 minutes that they “forgot” the ticket… and were out of 1/3 of our order after people one lane over who who ordered after us got the part of the order that was now supposedly out of stock lol 😂 they didn’t know when our order would be ready after finding out it hadn’t been processed. Make that make sense lol 😂 the real kicker was when they said they already had voided the out of stock part of the order (prior to telling me) but yet our order was forgotten, wow! Finally… I had checked back at least 4 times to see if our order was ready over the course of the time we waited; can’t bring outside food in, no food vending machines and can’t order food from the restaurant when bowling so if you are a diabetic or have to take a medication w/ food, take it before arrival or...

I recently visited The GOAT Sports Bar & Grill and had a fantastic experience! Despite it being a busy night, the food quality and service stood out. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

The kitchen was understandably a bit backed up due to the crowd, but our server handled it like a pro. She kept us updated, managed our table beautifully, and even brought out a pitcher of water and club soda for the table, which was a thoughtful touch to help us relax while we waited.

It’s clear the owner is dedicated to making this spot a real part of the community. I’d absolutely recommend giving it a try, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
