I want to give this restaurant more stars but the most I could give is 2.5 based on our last few visits- we have given it plenty of opportunities to impress us. The dishes are inconsistent- not sure if it depends on the chefs or what, but I think we’re done. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the decor is modern and cozy. We went for Mother’s Day brunch and it felt like we were at a first time restaurant trying to prove they are fancier and higher end than they actually are. The food selection was not great and the food wasn’t much better. We went a couple more times and the last time with the last this past Saturday. Four of us had pasta dishes- three tried the homemade pasta- which was in the past delicious. Not this time- it was the most tasteless pasta ever. One person ordered chicken, pasta and broccoli w pasta sauce and just before the dinners were served to us, we heard a crash in the kitchen. When his dish came out it had one little chicken cutlet on it and the waitress said, “that crash was your chicken, they will make more.” Why they didn’t just bring everything out at once I don’t know because when he got his meal the pasta had absolutely no taste and actually tasted watered down- like it had taken a fall off of the plate and they ran it under water then just added a VERY LITTLE but if sauce and another chicken cutlet and hoped he wouldn’t mind how it actually tasted. The two other dinners were tasteless as well, but not as bad as his. We explained to the hostess that the pasta had no taste at all and he really would rather not finish it. She offered to bring another and kept saying I’m sorry, but the waitress then turned cold and unfriendly for the rest of the night. We gave this restaurant plenty of tries, as it is a close, convenient option to where we live, however, it just doesn’t measure up to what...
Read moreSteer clear of this place. Made a reservation for my wife and I on Valentines Day. After being seated, nobody came to our table for near 30 minutes. Finally, one of us got up, went to the hostess, and asked why we hadn't seen a waitress yet. They finally sent over some kid who apologized and said someone quit tonight. Being of sound mind and judgment, I felt sympathy and expressed that to him. He said he would get someone over right away. After 5 to 10 minutes someone finally came. I said sorry about the situation to her. I get it. That can make a difficult challenge for them, and I understood.
We ordered 2 drinks and a simple appetizer to get started. Another 20+ minutes goes by, and it's crickets! It's like we didn't exist or they didn't care. Please note that at this point, the place is emptying out from other patrons finishing and leaving. You would think at this point things would get better, but no. I saw multiple waitresses hanging at the prep counter awaiting plates for patrons........ but nobody would even look our way.
I get it. You are down a waitress. But when I see half the customers gone and emplyees standing around, then the "short one person" thing goes out the window.
Horrendously incompetent and didn't simply didnt care. After an hour of nothingness we got up and walked out.
Do not go here. There are plenty of other quality Italian restaurants happy to provide good food and service. Don't waste your time, gas, and energy here. ...
Read moreThis place is absolutely horrible. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We waited 2 hours for cold food, the wrong order, and a bone in the other order. The server was rude and never came back with any updates on why it was taking so long until I called him over to ask why is this taking so long. He said the staff (his family) didn't inform him. He said it should be 5 more minutes... Well 20 minutes later... Then he informed us our entrees would be no change for the inconvenience. I asked for the check and 10 minutes later he gave me a bill for $95. I was so confused by what he just said... I asked him about the charges and he said I gave them to you so you have to pay for them. We did not eat the meals... I ordered three drinks and an app. I had no issue paying for what I had but, not the entrees. They called the local PD and said I didn't pay for my meal. I waited for the police outside the place and explained the situation. They said I was right but I wanted to leave because this was so comical at this point. I gave them $25 for the fish then he charged me $1.50 for using my credit card... OMG.. The old restaurant that was here was called Portabellos it was amazing, had friendly staff, and was a great place to eat. It is so sad that this is what it is now. There are many good Italian restaurants in North Attleboro DO...
