My experience at this cafe was disappointing. They did earn a couple points, but for the most part I don't think I'll come back.
I went in at about 2pm. It was completely empty, which usually isn't a problem, but it was also eerily silent--no music or movement.
The girl working in the front seemed indifferent, and made the minimalistic design of the cafe seem very cold. There was no greeting, and she just stared at me until I decided what to get. The way she took my order was very confusing. It seemed like a lot of things were out of stock, and I didn't even know there was a smaller size for the iced latte.
It took me struggling with the machine for several minutes as a que for her to tell me that discover cards doesn't work on their machine. Note: Cash isn't accepted if this applies to anyone.
The Wi-Fi here is trash. I couldn't get any work done, as loading even websites was a struggle.
Positives: There were some interesting specialty drinks like the "Shrek Latte," "Pistachio Coconut Latte" and "Berry Berry Strawberry Milk Latte." Personally I got the pistachio coconut latte which was decent. Good coffee presence, not too bland or strong. Not too sweet either. -Seating area and bathroom was clean, with plenty of windows for natural lighting. There is also enough places to sit, and outlets if you need to charge devices. Plenty of Parking Pretty easy to...
Read moreI recently visited Koko Loko cafe in New Brunswick and had the pleasure of trying their Pistachio Latte and Caramel Latte. While both drinks were enjoyable, the Pistachio Latte truly stole the show.
The Pistachio Latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich, nutty flavor that wasnât overly sweet but still indulgent. It had a creamy texture that complemented the espresso beautifully, making every sip an absolute delight. Itâs one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more even after the last drop.
The Caramel Latte was good as well, with a classic sweetness and smooth finish, but it didnât quite compare to the unique and standout flavor of the Pistachio Latte. If youâre deciding between the two, Iâd highly recommend going for the pistachioâitâs a game changer!
The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. Iâll definitely be returning to try more of their menu, but the Pistachio Latte is already a favorite.
5/5 stars for the Pistachio...
Read moreFound KOKO LOKO Coffee this place by accident while looking for another restaurant in the area - Butcher 360 Korean BBQ restaurant, which has the same owner.
This is a quaint, french inspired neighborhood coffee shop serving great LavAzza coffee and french pastries, sandwiches, and custom creations.
I had double espresso with dash of sweet cream - 4.5/5 (On point!) $3.25.
And two macrons - one chocolate and one pastiacho. - 4/5 (slight after taste of freezer burn. The taste was good). $1 each.
