** Either way you look at it, your prices are far beyond the value. **In response to the owner’s response. I didnt pay with a card. Not sure how I can be looked up? Also, the “extra large” drinks are not really extra large.. Ill post a pic. The burrito consisted of about 3 tablespoons of black beans and rice, about two table spoons of guac and a tablespoon of pico and queso and of course, the tortilla and the qurter cup of steak. Again. $6.50 for the standard burrito, $1.00 for the pico, $1.25 for the guac.
P.s. kinda creepy that the owner looks you up.
Not sure what they’re putting in the kool-aid for the town of Hampstead to be rooting for them. The food is so so and vigorously over priced. Bought their kids burrito that is regularly priced at $6.50. I had them add guac and pico and it shot the price over $11.00. Please, if you want some decent Mexican food, look elsewhere or withdraw from your 401k to eat there. One star for the ambiance and another...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This place was not good and I have no clue how they have such high ratings. I went here for lunch… was very hungry and was looking forward to trying because I had heard such good reviews. When I got to this location, it was mostly empty (around noon - lunch time). I now under why it wasn’t busy.
I ordered an aloha bowl with cod. The flavors were really off and nothing tasted good. The flavors just didn’t go well together. The rice and beans were undercooked and hard. The cod was a fried piece of fish that was mostly breading and tasted of old oil and was over fried. Even after I removed the cod and only the other ingredients were left, it still tasted gross. I couldn’t even finish half of it and tossed it in the trash. I am not someone who likes to waste food but I had no problem throwing this away. I will not be going back and do not...
Read moreEdit: Thank you for you response, but it makes no sense. How could it possibly be safer for you staff to have large groups of people congregating inside your restaurant for long periods of time while they wait for their food? I stopped by again today to give you another shot but left when a family of 5 walked out of the restaurant without a mask in sight. Maybe they were just walking from their table to the door, but I don't care. Your policy places more people at risk.
I used to love this place. The food is good, but they've elected to stop doing call in and online orders... in the middle of a pandemic. If you want food you have to go there, order, and then wait. The last time it took almost an hour to get my food. I asked if they planned to start taking online or phone orders any time soon and was told that this is indefinite. I guess I will be avoiding this place...
