Hardee's — Restaurant in North Carolina

We recently moved down here, and after having multiple less than stellar visits to the ones in VA, I thought I'd give the NC version a shot. If this is the state of Hardee's nationwide, I can't see them staying in business much longer. The person at the drive thru was pleasant enough, but I ordered a coke with my mushroom Swiss combo, and she asked if I wanted Diet coke when reading back my order, I said "no coke" and she said ok. Upon getting to my daughters and sitting down to eat, it was Dr Pepper ( mine was the ONLY drink on the order). All three of the burgers we ordered were burnt and cold. My fries (also the only ones ordered) were also stone cold and tasted like they were made yesterday. At 1:00pm, I'd expect hot food, even if I had to wait a bit. But even after a wait, all our food was cold and basically inedible. As a kid growing up, I loved Hardee's more than any other chain, and up to the pandemic, it was still good. Update: 7-19-24- BRING BACK FRIED CHICKEN!!! Y'all shot yourself in the foot doing away with all that! That's what set y'all apart from everything that is there! Big mistake!!

Update: 6-08-22- Hate this but...... We were pulled forward, like usual to wait for our order... 35 minutes later, we decided to pull back around into the drive through,(which took another 5-10 minutes) because we were forgotten about... No apologies, just given our food like nothing happened...husband inquired if the chicken was still considered fresh since it took about 45 minutes for them to remember us...Dude snapped back, "it's fresh!".... Forgot our biscuit with our chicken order... Y'all can keep that biscuit and we'll keep our money for a while... Disappointed.....

The fried chicken is the best!! They will fry it up fresh for you if you ask! No one wants super hard chicken that's been chilling under a heat lamp a while and they don't blame you! So if you got 10-15 minutes, they will have it got, fresh and...

We had ordered a 8 piece chicken box with 4 biscuts to go. We ordered in side the store. We were talking to the male server at around 4:45 pm. He handed us our box without a receipt but I didn't think to much about it. We were traveling through Sneads Ferry as we live about 20 miles away in Hubert, NC. We got home and opened the box to eat and there were only 6 pieces of chicken instead of 8. I tried calling but the phone stayed busy every time I tried to call. I have been eating there almost every time I pass through Sneads Ferry now I wonder if I should ever go back. I feel cheated.
