Read moreI recently had the opportunity to try out Hustle Wing Co. This restaurant is located on the end of Horseshoe plaza. It is located on the new Ecusta trail. It is wheelchair accessible too. I love the interesting decor which includes many items that remind us of times past. When you come in you order your food and pay at the counter and then chose where to sit. There is a roomy main room, additional sitting in a side room and an outdoor covered porch area. I had the opportunity to talk to the owner and he mentioned his future plans for an outside open area right off the trail where guests will be able to eat too. I love all the old record albums with their jacket covers. The bathrooms have old magazine articles and pictures and are fun to explore. There are a few games in the side room to check out too. I love the old barrels used under some of the tables and the natural tabletops on them. The owner even went as far as to place some hooks on the barrels to hang a purse if one wanted to. The food is awesome, and I highly recommend you try it. So far, I have tried the fried pickles, loaded fries, crispy chicken tender sandwich, and the Cinnamon French toast with Mango Compote and loved them all. My boyfriend has tried the wings and really likes them. You can order your food online too. I will be...

So when I try a place I've never been to, I have 3 requirements - 1) the standard Buffalo sauce needs to be better than "the other guys," 2) the ranch dressing (sorry to all the blue cheese fans) needs to be fresh, and 3) the flats need to be meaty and not teeny tiny because I'm just not a "drum" girl.
Let's talk Hustle Wing Co. I'll be back. They remind me of a favorite wing place I go to in Tennessee that offers a multitude of sauce flavors. I tried 2 of their sauces: 1) Hustle (Traditional Buffalo) and 2) Pattaya (Curry, Ginger, Peanuts & Basil).
Both were excellent. The flats cooked perfectly (I ordered extra crispy). Ranch dressing fresh. And the carrots and celery were freshly cut and crispy.
The owner was so friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my request on my small order. Even gifted me a chocolate chip cookie (which was delicious...perfectly soft in the middle and crispy on the edges).
Bottom line - just go check it out. If you love wings, I'm sure you'll be their...
