pretty good shop, actually. i liked the atmosphere, and its very nice and clean, but i do have a few gripes.
like most tourist shops, its a bit expensive for the common joe. i found something cheap as a mother's day gift for my mom, but it was small. most the stuff was unique and pretty, so i could see why the cost was higher, but i still wish there were cheaper options.
my main problem was the coffee. I ordered the chocolate chip blended mocha, drank it outside, and was very sick 30 minutes later. it could have been a number of factors that made me sick, but i think it was the coffee. i do not reccomend it.
for tourists visiting the area, this makes a good shop to purchase memorable items, sodas, and ice cream. for residents, it's a bit overpriced but deserves an occasional visit. i would come back. just not getting the coffee...

But going to Gifts and Grounds is always a very pleasant place to get a cup of good coffee and pick up a few gifts. Bringing your coffee on the back patio in a rocking chair overlooking the lake is heaven. The only suggestion I have and this is totally a personal taste is please let your staff make the lattes with half and half and offer different sizes for the lattes.
