Food is very inconsistent. Some visits it's warm and tasty. Other times it's cold (clearly been under a warming light for a while), and poorly made (missing correct toppings).
A major issue my wife and I have is the general direction McDonalds is taking all of their restaurants. Its very clear they are slowly shifting to where the customers have to place the order themselves and also pick up their food (staff dont even deliver to table even if you order at the kiosk).
They are also slowly cutting out all the supplies. Today we found out this location no longer places a napkin dispenser in the dining room. We can understand their desire to cut down on waste, but the problem is that about 75% of the time we've always had to use napkins from the dining room to clean our tables. Staff rarely clean them and unfortunately customers leave trash, uneaten food, spilled drinks and spilled ketchup all over the tables and floor. Now we have to order and then go out into the dining room to see if we can find a clean table and if not go all the way back to the counter and try to ask counter staff for paper towels to clean our own table, and that's assuming you can find counter staff who are usualky around the corner at the drive-thru.
Before the policy change, we still had to clean the table ourselves but we could just grab the paper towels from the dining room. Now we have to go back to the counter and wait several minutes until someone finally comes out from working the drive-thru.
We are truly close to being done with McDonalds. It's not just this location. It's clear that all McDonalds nationwide are getting rid of placing any items in the dining room. About a month ago we visited a brand new McDonalds located on an interstate and there was nothing in the dining room except tables and chairs. No drink machine, no napkins, no straws, no salt, no ketchup....nothing.
So as this is implemented my wife and I have already agreed that we'll switch to eating at sandwich shops like Jersey Mikes or a local burger/hotdogs place like...

Anyway here my five cents / experience: Drive thru, ordered at the big order booth to the right. While doing this I noticed some woman in a small sedan speeding past the other order station to my left. She briefly stopped at the 1st window (the payment window) and seemed to talk to the guy and proceeded being in front of me, while I paid. Now both the lady in front of me and I had to wait, as there was yet another, a third customer in front of both of us.
So far I didn't think anything of it - I thought she had a claim of something missing or an internet order...
Now when the lady pulled forward she was quickly handed a bag with food, and somehow since I saw here hand movement, (she briefly stopped) I was like wait...what's going on. She had a short conversation then got handed a drink (a one liter thing that looked like water) and sped away.
Now my turn: The guy at the 2nd, the "food window" didn't even know what I ordered. Ask me what I want to drink, gave me the drink I requested. As I asked for my food he started arguing instantly, that I didn't order any food, just a drink! I had the receipt but the high-school aged boy took it from me and the lady with the pink hair ordered me to drive to the side and wait.
So - first point is that I don't know why they put the least experienced in charge of customers? Is that a management failure?) Obviously the boy had given my food to the lady in front of me. Next the guy at the payment window most have poorly communicated or didn't watch his drive through lane at all! The boy never asked for a receipt, or "what is your order"... totally lost overview.
Worst is, nobody ever apologized, cared what is going on...
At the end (walked inside) I got food (had to ask twice, they cut me short a 2nd time) and receipt but got "handled" as if I had stolen the...
Read moreYikes! This location is usually decent with getting orders right and timely service, but tonight was a different story entirely. We ordered through the app and checked in for curbside pickup. FIFTEEN minutes later, went in to inquire about food. MIKE couldn’t stop interrupting my husband to even understand the issue, kept saying the only way to do mobile order was through the drive thru (obviously not true) and acted like he had no way to find and fill the order. Repeatedly yelled at my husband, went so far as to slam his fist down on the counter one of the many times he kept interrupting. He managed to make an order close to ours and send it outside to a different car. Only the employee who took the order out realized it was ours when the other woman brought the food back in. My husband tried to calmly tell Mike that he really shouldn’t talk to customers that way, and honestly he wasn’t heard, because he just kept interrupting and yelling. In the ten minutes he was inside (yes, it took over 25 minutes to get our food), my husband saw multiple people complaining about their orders being wrong. I will be filing a corporate complaint and don’t plan to use this location again until I’ve heard back that Mike has been trained on 1) how McDonald’s works and 2) how to...
