Subway — Restaurant in North Carolina

I tried calling to talk to the manager, but the number is disconnected. So now I’m going to leave a review. Do not go here! Please! Everything about this place is horrible. Last Saturday, March 1st my husband and daughters came into the store to get a sub. They were the only ones in the store beside the two workers. The lady that was working that afternoon was extremely rude to my family. My husband told her the toilet paper was out in the bathroom. She started cussing in front of my family. My youngest daughter is eight and was horrified by the language. She told them never to come back. We’re gladly never to come back to that place again! If you overreact to hearing the toilet paper is out. I work in the food, industry and understand when people are understaffed or stressed out. But there were the only ones in the store. We have never been treated so poorly by a staff member. My youngest daughter was very scared by the lady working. She needs to be trained in customer service if not fired. I was just at the subway location a few minutes ago picking up dinner for my family. I ordered a kids meal for my son which I’ve never done before. It wasn’t until I left that. I thought that was an expensive kids meal for just being a quarter of a sandwich. I look on the website and lo and behold it was supposed to come with. I look on the website and lo and behold. It was supposed to come with a side and a drink which I was not aware of, nor informed of. This location was a ghost town, and the two young ladies working seemed inconvenienced by my presence. Once I was on the road, I tried calling back twice and the phone was just ringing until a dialtone picked up. I guess the girls working didn’t feel like answering the phone. This is just infuriating because I know they’re not busy and I can’t believe employees. Would just let the phone ring off the hook not once but twice. Will definitely not...

I like subway. I think they can over price some or even most of their sandwiches but HERES WHY I RATED IT 1 STAR. When you go to pay and you pay by card they ask if you want to leave a tip. I declined and they immediately whispered to each other and started laughing. Really?!?!? Even if you weren't saying something about me that is not the time or place you whisper something into your coworkers ear. The other reason was I'm almost positive they say something about what they should have done to my sandwich. I'm not against tipping but I don't feel like subway is a place to tip. I don't tip the person at Ingles or publix so why should I tip subway. I don't think putting a few thinly sliced of meat is worth a tip in any way. So So honestly one star is being generous.
