Bride review: I can’t recommend Charlotte’s business enough for your wedding day. Not only was she the kindest and most comforting person to work with, she is much more affordable than some of the bakers advertised as “wedding”. We were able to get mini pies, cookies, macarons, a three tier cake (and a free little anniversary cake!), and delivery all for about the same price as one wedding cake from other vendors. Not to mention everything was delicious. Charlotte was so kind and understanding to us as clueless first-timers, always validating us and caring about us and the details we wanted. And we were totally surprised by the tasting she allowed us to do…. She went above and beyond and gave us multiple boxes of cakes and desserts to try, even multiple of everything! I ended up choosing chai cake for my wedding, and my favorite desserts were the mini key lime pies and ginger snap cookies!! My husband and I are extremely grateful for Sugarcane and Shepherd Desserts.

Groom review: My wife said it best; Charlotte is the absolute best you will find. Forget the affordable price; she is the sweetest and most generous baker ever. She catered to everything we wanted and was not bothered by all of our requests. When we asked for custom desserts to taste-test, she made us more than we could eat without batting an eye! I was looking for a bakery that makes gluten free desserts daily to make our wedding cake because even a little bit of gluten makes me sick and I wanted to make sure we went with someone that truly understood how important it is for me and that can make it taste yummy. I was recommended by people on Facebook to try Sugarcane and Shepherds desserts and I am so thankful we got the recommendation! We are now having our wedding cake made by Rebecca and we are so very excited. We had our cake tasting today and all of the cakes were amazing. They made sure to have all the gluten free cakes on one side for me to make sure I didn't accidentally eat any of my fiance's cakes that had gluten. We decided to go with three different tiers so we could have our top three favorite flavors and a tier specifically gluten free for me! They had the cutest little tasting table set up for us and we were able to bring the leftover cake home! The cakes were AMAZING!!!! Even my fiance tried my gluten free cakes and said he couldn't even tell they were gluten free. Everything was wonderful and the staff are super nice! I have also tried some of their cookies, cupcakes and muffins and everything was fabulous. They also keep all the gluten free goodies in separate cases from the other items which is amazing! I absolutely can't wait to see how my wedding cake turns out. If you love yummy treats you definitely have...

I don’t know how this place has ANY negative reviews. Or anything less than 5 stars. The owner (I believe that’s who helped us) was super nice and just gave the whole place a great vibe. She even gave us an extra cookie free of charge. I see people complain about the price in a couple reviews which is just plain ridiculous. I was actually impressed with how LOW the price was…as $5 for a cupcake or $2 for a cookie IS EXTREMELY reasonable..especially for the quality you get. We had a Key Line Whoopie Pie that was SERIOUSLY THE BEST WHOOPIE PIE I’ve ever had. Was shocked at how accurate the taste was and how Airy and light the Icing was. The lemon cookie and chocolate chip cookie were also PHENOMENAL, arguably best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot from countless places)…

And to top off the TOP TIER QUALITY Treats, and A++ customer service, seeing the owners extremely classy responses to some of the ridiculous negative reviews (the handful that clearly can’t appreciate quality products) just says even more about the type of care she’s putting into her business snd food,
