Taqueria La Pasadita — Restaurant in North Carolina

Honestly this is the most authentic Mexican food around, that I have found anyway. And for such a good price! My boyfriend ordered carnitas and a steak (asada) taco. The carnitas look and smell so good I’m actually a little jealous. The pork is tender yet crispy, and the fat was left in which is the best part he said. The steak on the taco looks good too. I ordered the enchiladas and a marinated pork (al pastor) taco. There were 4 large enchiladas, super fresh and delicious with dark meat chicken (pretty sure) which to me is even better, more flavor and less dry. I ate 3 and was stuffed and I’m no lightweight lady! The pastor taco was delicious too (okay I had to make room for that you know) but the tacos only had meat on them, but realized after I left the onions and lime and cilantro were probably on the salsa bar. I just didn’t look! Luckily the meat was all perfection — texture, flavor, el todo — so onion and lime were hardly needed. We paid about $25 for all of this food. I will be back, 1000 more times. Been a loyal customer here for almost 3 years, ended today over the simplest request. My family and I spend a few hundred dollars here a month… I asked for 4 cups to get salsa for 3 orders of food almost $40 spent and the older lady laughed in my face… I then asked “what’s funny?” And she still wouldn’t answer me just shaking her head, I insisted on what the issue was. She said “it’s only one cup per order” and then proceeds to hand me 2 cups for my 3 orders. Absolutely couldn’t wrap my head around treating a regular like that over 1 extra sauce cup, say I have to pay for it or something, but don’t laugh in my face and for that you lost...

Excellent food,but extremely Filthy! I went to the counter and ordered, then sat down and waited for my food. The longer I sat there the more I looked around and saw things that I did not want to see. The floors were filthy and I had two roaches pass by my table. The windows were greasy and the walls were dirty. The topping bar was disgusting and a disaster. Even little things like the hanging open sign was broke and definitely needed attention. However, the food was excellent but I am guessing if the sitting area was as filthy as it was the kitchen is probably no better. It really is a shame because the food is good. I will not...
