The Complex Bean — Restaurant in North Carolina

This small coffee shop in an unsuspecting little strip mall in Murrayville is probably the best in Wilmington. The variety and quality of coffee here is ridiculously good. If memory serves, it all comes from a roaster in Raleigh. For those who can think of anything but coffee in the morning, they have a surprisingly large variety of fresh baked goods, and heartier fares like quiche and breakfast burritos. I’ve been meaning to leave this review for quite some time now. I’ve been a huge fan of Port City Java’s Mocha Shake for years. My wife, kids and I live on N. Kerr right behind this shop (The Complex Bean). I decided to stop one day and see if they have anything comparable. This place has amazing coffee! as a true coffee addict I approve this place! Their lattes are delicious! The place it’s always clean. I usually see art from local artist hung on the walls. This place it’s a bit far from my house but it’s worth the drive. I’ve had a couple of their baked goods and they are pretty good. Every time I go, I get greeted by someone different but they all are extremely friendly. The place also has Kombucha if you are a fan. I have yet to try it though.
