Viv's Fridge is an unexpected delight! While searching for a new option for dinner in Goldsboro, I expanded my search to include Kinston and Viv's Fridge popped up as an option in front of Chef and the Farmer. And there's a location just down the road in Goldsboro! Fantastic! Okay, so this is a little radical... a freezer that you visit, swipe your card, select what you want and then come home and prepare the meal. (Be sure to allow yourself time to defrost any item.) I bought the Chicken Roulade and the Chocolate Cake. (The sweet potatoes in the photos, I made at home.) Both were delicious, though the chicken had very little (actually no) stuffing oast the 1st two cuts. The cake, though pricey ($25) was absolutely devine and I'd do it all again. I'll do this again for sure! It's a little bit pricey, but the quality is very good and sometimes the luxury of staying home and still having a wonderful meal is worth the little bit of extra cost. Looking forward to trying some of the other options.
