Waffle House — Restaurant in North Carolina

We ate here on busy Sunday morning. Our food was great. Our waitress was Sherri and she was a delight regardless of running around trying to make sure all her tables were taking care of. I am immensely displeased with the actions of the manager, Ben, however. When there was a mix up with a waffle order, all customers witnessed the manager scream in her face of our waitress. The entire restaurant heard. Stating “this is on you”. When the waffle was ready, the line cook did not inform the waitress that it was ready resulting in the waffle having to be remade. The waitress is a better women than me. She handled the action in a professional manner and continued to exceed the expectations of the customer. Excellent. Food was fresh, great. Service was exceptional. Server Nick was attentive, thorough, personable and friendly. Were asked 3 times by other staff if we needed anything also. Tables were being cleaned by a very smart young lady. She cleaned the table with disposable towels which is how it should be instead of one rag on every table. But she cleaned the menus. Nobody ever does that it seems. Found to be a great source of bacteria in studies. Overall we are a waffle house lover and eat in one in every city we visit except for one in Augusta Georgia with a B or C rating ( I can't remember which) our experiences have been good but this one in Marion N.C. Last nite it being cold n nasty out, at about 9pm, me being hungry, Waffle House Breakfast seemed cure I needed! I arrived about 9;30, expecting a few people thinking like me! My surprise only a few seats left? I found a cozy corner table n waitress was already asking me Coffee or? Quickly while wiping off table, n taking my order? A nice smile n friendly words from rest of staff! I took just min, checking my phone n my order was there!!! I had the Cheese n Eggs, Hash browns, Bacon, Side-Oder Grits n Rasin Toast!!!
