NICKS GYROS & PHILLYS — Restaurant in North Charleston

This place lies!!! We placed an order and when we received it was wrong. My coworker brought it back and we called them right away. We explained that we could not come back because we were at work. He said at our earliest convenience we could come back to get the order replaced to just bring the receipt in with us. So today we go to get the food replaced (10 days later; our earliest convenience), we even called before we went to get the food. Once there and sitting for 10 minutes we get told that they can not replace the food because we did not bring the old food back and that it was 10 days old. When my coworker returned back and told me what happened I called and was given 10 different reasons as to why they could and would not replace the food. I have had this happen 1 too many times and I know what other places will do and this place is completely opposite. DO NOT tell people one thing and then do the opposite. I will not be giving these people my money for anything again as not only did I loose money but I lost...

Way too expensive for the quality of food. Don’t waste your time or money, you’ll be extremely disappointed. You know how hole in the wall spots usually have bomb food? Well, this is definitely NOT one of those spots. This place is run down, inside and out. Gyro meat has zero taste, it’s like slop wrapped into pita bread. About 10lbs of tasteless meat in an absolute POOL of tzatziki sauce, shredded lettuce that looks expired or like it just sat out in the heat way too long, and a half slice of tomato. These “gyros” are a joke. I was in a tall SUV going through the drive-thru and i unfortunately got a really good peak inside their kitchen when i was paying and it made me wonder whether the Health Inspector just skips his visits to this place. Trust me, they have their drive-thru window covered up so that you can’t see inside for a reason 😂 You’re better off with microwaveable gas station food. These people don’t even have working A/C in their building. Insane that the county let’s these guys...

I am a regular customer at this place and lastnight was my very first time getting food from them that was not fresh.. I got my favorite which was fried gizzards and fries.. you could taste the old grease that the gizzards was fried in and it also tasted old as well.. as much money as I spend with these people when I called and made my complaint the next morning because my lunch is at 1am and it was to late to call it in that night the manager was extremely rude wouldn’t even let me speak basically saying my claims was false.. yes I should’ve called the same night but I wasn’t the one who picked the food up so I wasn’t aware of the problem until it got to me and my lunch again is at 1am so I called the very next day when they opened.. if I could I would give this place a 0 due to the manager that was extremely rude and it really didn’t matter to him that he lost two regular customers.
