Palomar Fish Tacos — Restaurant in North Charleston

So many great things to say! This restaurant was nice & clean which I appreciated. The service was very friendly & welcoming. The food was delicious & fresh! We got the salsa & guacamole with chips as an appetizer. The guac was some of the best I’ve had. I got the famous fish tacos combo omg delicious, the beans and rice with it was also delicious (especially the beans). My husband got the shrimp burrito which was huge, he loved it. I also got an a la carte shrimp taco & my husband got a fish taco. Very yummy! My children got the bean and cheese burrito that came with French fries. The kids bean and cheese burrito was so good too (I had a bite, I had to lol) my babies loved their meal. If you’re thinking about checking this place out don’t think about just do it! I’ve been meaning to try Palorma Fish Tacos, and I’m so glad I finally did — this place is fantastic! It’s a cozy, authentic Mexican spot tucked away on Dorchester Rd, and it completely exceeded my expectations.

I went on a Tuesday and took advantage of their fish taco promotion. I ordered 6 tacos, and every single one was delicious. The fish was fresh, flaky, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of crispiness. The toppings were fresh and flavorful — a great balance of textures and tastes. You can tell they put care into the ingredients and preparation.

The service was also top-notch. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and quick with the orders. The atmosphere inside is clean and casual, making it a great place to grab a relaxed, satisfying meal.

Whether you're a local or just passing through North Charleston, Palorma Fish Tacos is definitely worth a visit — especially on Taco Tuesday! I’ll be coming back for sure to try more...

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! If you are looking for authentic Baja style fish tacos, this is the place! The food was so fresh and the portions are extremely generous. We started with the guacamole, salsa and chips and everything was so fresh and delicious! The tacos were out of this world! My husband and I each got the taco combo with rice and beans and they were the best refried beans I’ve ever had. We definitely could have split the one combo plate. There was so much food, we will have a full other meal out of our leftovers. I also got the hibiscus drink, which is fresh, made daily in-house, and absolutely delicious. Blanca and Daniel the owners were so kind, hospitable and personable. The restaurant was absolutely spotless as was the kitchen.
