From Outta town (Texas) here on business @ AFB. One tries not to compair mexican food from Texas. But will mention in honest. Dine-in: clean roomy, attentive waitress, restroom clean but VERY small. Simple menu and drinks. Food: 1/4 chicken (was there special) and was ok, was small portion, rice was ok (hard/soft) amd beans was VERY disappointed (no onions, cilantro, tomato, season, or bacon we in texas call ot borrachos) it was a plain, mixed from yesterdays (taste). Tortillas normal but could be improved. Drink: Jamaica, way too sweet (fruit punch taste), but some ppl might like it that. In all it was enough for a quick bite, something in tummy to get you thru the day.

My wife and I wanted to try a place that was different from our norm so I suggested we try Pollo Loko. They didn’t disappoint. The food was very flavorful, I wish they had a variety of sauces for their meats. However, the chicken & ribs were really good. I really enjoyed the salad, the dressing is more of a vinegar base which I like. The beans and rice are excellent! I’d definitely recommend and will be a returning customer.

Pretty darn good latin cuisine. Being raised in the South Bronx it reminds me of the Puerto Rican ran shops that offered chicharrones and plantains. Very nostalgic. There's a small language barrier but luckily the menu has pictures and I can honestly say the food looks just like the pictures. You don't have to dress up and the environment isn't exquisite but if you came for the food you got the right place.

So I didn't actually eat at this restaurant but my sister-in-law is Peruvian so when I saw that this was a Peruvian restaurant I expected to go inside and see a Peruvian food menu. I expected to see aji de gallina or some ceviche, etcetera... but it is more like a Latin fusion / Mexican taco food place. A lot of fried options. Definitely check out their menu before you go if you're expecting to get Peruvian cuisine you might be disappointed. The overall atmosphere was like any other Latin store / restaurant. I didn't shop around I thanked them for their time after looking at their menu and told them maybe another time I would return if I wanted some fried...

Waitress was awesome. Everything about the restaurant(entrance, floor, decor, tables, etc.) needs a major overhaul. Food is overpriced for us (we're from Houston, if that makes a difference). We are use to paying $45 for a family of 5 (3 kids 9 and under), but we paid $60 here. The kids' chicken nuggets are the frozen kind, fries are good. The real complaint is that they get 5 nuggets with fries for $7- WAY overpriced. Chicken tacos were really good at $3/taco: no complaints there. 1/2 chicken, just good... Will we eat there again? Maybe just buy the chicken...
