SCOOTERS HATES POOR PEOPLE AND HAS AWFUL COFFEE

If you don’t have a car THEY WILL NOT SERVE YOU.

Y’all decided to put an overpriced coffee shop in the middle of an impoverished neighborhood and DIDNT EVEN OFFER A WALK UP OPTION?!

It’s 2023 not everyone has cars especially in this location. Y’all JUST built this location too so why didn’t you add a window?? Dumb.

My truck wouldnt start this morning so my daughter and I walked over a mile in the heat to grab some scooters. We were rudely ignored by the lady at the window (who looked like she just smoked her morning cr@ck) after I finally got her attention by YELLING she told us it was against policy to serve us at the drive through even though there were no cars. I asked if she could serve me through the back door she said no and closed the window in my face.

On top of all of that scooters has the WORST coffee in Charleston. Their specialty drinks are wayyy too sweet and they leave a nasty film in your mouth. Their actual coffee blend is so boring, McDonald has better coffee and doesn’t cost 12 bucks…

The only reason I went was because it’s the closest place to my house that I could walk to.

For some reason I forgot my card at home, but I had cash. My bill was 32 dollars. When I paid with a 50 dollar bill she told me that she doesn't accept 50 dollar bills. Well, I had 28 dollars in change. Then the lady at the window told me that she wouldn't give me the order. (She was right if I didn't pay in full I couldn't have the food) I told her that it wasn't my fault that I didn't know that I couldn't pay with a 50 dollar bill. But I asked her to tell me where the sign was so I would be better informed. So I called the manager to tell her that she should just put up a sign that says that they don't accept 50 dollar bills and that way avoid any problems. But she just started making fun of me and laughing with her other coworkers. I wouldn't want to go to a cafeteria like that one day with angry staff because I don't know how they would...

Well I thought I found a new coffee spot but apparently saving a mini paper cup means more to this manager than keeping customers. I did a tiktok on how good this coffee was and looked forward to a second cup but because I like to put my own cream and sugar in my coffee they don't want my business. Coffee is different for everyone that is why people ask how do you like your coffee. I like mine with a little cream and 5 sugars. The employees tend to put way too much cream in my coffee and I don't like that but something tells me if I was of a different hue it wouldn't have been an issue because they did it for me once and then said we're not supposed to use those little cups. Dumb lady you saved a half a cent and lost a lifetime...
