Updated 12-06-22 We came in with our daughter and niece for lunch. We were excited because our daughter and niece like beer so I couldn't wait for them to try some new beer. We bought the same appetizers we've bought the past few times we've come in for our "date" times. We get fried mushrooms, fried pickles, chicken fingers with onion rings instead of fries and loaded fries. We also bought potato boats today. When our food arrived we were puzzled bc the serving size was smaller than we've ever received before and the product itself even seemed smaller. We made sure to ask if our fried mushrooms were a half a serving instead of a full but after checking with the kitchen we were told it was a full serving. We were also told each one is portioned out so it shouldn't be different from what we normally get. When our wires came by to check on us we mentioned the size to her as well and even she said she'd check because that wasn't a normal serving. She came back with the same answer we were already given. We were certainly disappointed. Something seemed different in the taste/quality as well but we chalked it up to maybe it was just our overall disappointment in the difference experience from all other times. As for the beer, our daughter and niece bought a flight of beer and sadly didn't really care for any of the ones they chose but I think that's always the chance you take when trying different types of beer from what you normally drink so I don't feel we could give an honest review of the beer. Our waitress was always as kind and helpful as any other time she's helped us. Other staff members we interacted with were nice as well. The atmosphere was also just as laid back and friendly as were used to. The biggest difference was portion size and possibly quality of the items we ordered. We may come back another time or two just to see if things change but we won't blindly order all the items we normally do. We'll probably just order one appetizer to start. If we go back, I'll update this review again. We came in for a lunch with family. Our family from different generations get together once a month and this was our first time eating here. We ended up with about 16 family members showing up. They were very happy to accommodate us all. The service was great as was the food. I had the Monte Crisco sandwich with onion rings. It was amazing.

85 minutes for a burger and two appetizers at a bar at a mall, is unacceptable anyway you look at it. We weren’t greeted, or seated and we had to wander to the bar and ask if we could eat there. After :15 minutes we were able to order and the wait continued. That God for the TV screens! When the food arrived it was unappealing, to be kind. There was zero pride in the presentation. Just cooked and plated. Yeah yeah I know “We’re short staffed be patient…” The burger was not good, not bad but just OK. Truthfully I’ve had better fries out of a Green Giant bag. That tomato slice was mealy and should have gone directly to the trash, instead of taking a trip into the dining room. The steak tips were on the small side and were swimming in what was loosely called au jus. It was really a watery brown liquid. Au jus is for dipping, not drowning the meat. We saw one manager, three servers and the bartender, who for some inexplicable reason was running drinks to the tables. We also watched two couples leave after waiting for service. We thought about leaving as well, but realized we were better off staying and hopefully having lunch served before the dinner bell rang. You can do better. Ps. I still left 20% for the bartender so no hating.

I’ve been here a couple years ago and enjoyed it. However, my family and I came today and it was a rather bad experience. When we came in, tons of tables were covered in trash and dirty plates. Which, as a server, totally understand happens during a busy spike. However, when we ordered we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. When we got the food, some of my meal was missing and I didn’t get the rest of it until after we finished. And, my food came on top of a dirty plate. The server told us this was due to them being short staffed. It kind of rubbed us the wrong way because we are more than understanding of being short staffed. Aka why we didn’t complain about the restaurant being out of multiple things, not having silverware, or the long wait. I’m not sure how receiving a dirty plate is excused by short staff. Don’t get me wrong, it was under my clean plate for my food but still seemed rather gross. I’m a server myself and I would never really use that as a reason for a table getting unhygienic service. That being said, the food was okay and our server was nice and definitely trying his best. I feel like the manager should have forced a wait for new tables to let the servers catch up.

First of all the waitress was great as usual. None of these problems were the waitresses fault.Me an my wife decided to go out for lunch which we've have gone here several times.Couldnt wait to get there fish an chips an there veggies dish yes that's right there veggie dish and I'm not to fond of veggies. The way they cook them is out of this world.Well, our waitress said we don't have them anymore because we are being bought out by another company.Well I guess that is understandable. So I get the fries instead of veggies that was fine except they don't have fish an chips anymore.Well ok then I will get a pimento burger, guess what they don't have any hamburger buns.So now I have to get something without buns ,ended up getting spaghetti and meat. Now my wife did get the pimento burger with Texas bread. She told waitress not to toast bread which she wrote down. She also wanted sweet potato fries guess what they have those on menu. Now our food is served guess what the Texas bread was toasted.Im pretty sure this business will not last long.Im sure the new owner has a good explanation for all of these issues. The owner won't have to worry about the problems(which Im sure he won't)I won't be back.Just remember sir word of mouth can be your worst enemy.Good luck in your...
