Jerk N' More Too — Restaurant in North Chicago

Wow—just wow! The food here was absolutely amazing! We had the jerk chicken, curry chicken, collard greens, mac & cheese, and stuffing—and every single dish was bursting with flavor.

The curry chicken was so juicy and rich, with deep, decadent flavors that truly stood out. The collard greens had the perfect hint of smoky goodness, and the jerk chicken? Perfectly cooked—not dry at all—and it reminded my husband of the authentic flavors we had in Jamaica!

We drove about 40 minutes to try this place, and it was 100% worth the trip. The staff was so kind and helpful, guiding us through the menu since it was our first time. They made sure we got to try the best—and they absolutely delivered. The music choice this evening was perfect volume and great genre. The atmosphere is “mom and pop” so if you’re looking for candle light dining this is not the place but we were looking for spectacular food not ambience.

Next time, I’m definitely trying the oxtail. We’ll definitely be back, and I’m wishing this spot all the success in the world....

Hmm where do i start First 1 star is too much. Well when I called in my order I ordered two catfish meals I was told if your paying w/ card it'll be $32 + tax paying with cash $32 even okay fine ....how in the world is it that when I get there the price jumps to $40 !!.. I ask why the price change? the cashier says oh the Mac and sweet potaoes are premium sides..sooo was my order not heard from the beginning??.. no she heard me!...What kind of establishment changes the price when u come pick up the food....it's not like my order wasn't originally heard because it was repeated back to me!! So I don't appreciate or understand that.

And then to add the extremely dirty looks they give out To highly paying customers not to mention the fact that I'm being charged $40 for two extremely mediocre catfish meals with Box macaroni and cheese and having the audacity to charge it as a premium side!!! .I will never ever go back and will be telling family and friends as well..The Nerve! I know box Mac n cheese...

The food is good here. I do not believe the owner know what’s going on. Some Fridays the staff leave early and they did not pick up the phone after 4:45pm. I drove in and this lady had a major attitude, yelling WE CLOSE!! I said dont you close at 7pm? She repeated WE CLOSE! Mind you this is at 5:30pm. How are you closed when the door is ooened and the sign says you’re open! This is not the first time this happened on a Friday! The owner need to hire reliable staff! This is not how you run a business!! For that I give the service a 1! The food is good and the atmosphere is a typical take out low budget hole in the wall feel. Nothing...
