We have eaten at this location 1 time before tonight. It was over a year ago and our experience was good enough to come back. Its a bit of a drive but since our last visit we have moved closer and decided to do a take out order. The order said it would be ready in roughly 30mins (ordered via doordash) putting pick up around 8:24. Now I would never hold them to that exact time but when I say this was a joke, I'm not kidding. We got there about 8:20 and waited outside of the line until 8:30 - the order was still not confirmed as done, but we hopped into the line since it seemed that it was taking cars about 10 mins to ge their orders. 8:37 we reach the girl bringing back and forth the orders. She says it's not ready. 10 minutes go by. 20 minutes go by - 8:57 she has to ask my name again - still not ready. 9:10 she says it's still not ready but would now go talk to he manager saying that the kitchen is backed up. Now I get that they were busy. 100 percent was okay with waiting until my food came out roughly 60 seconds after she went to talk to the manager. Our food had been sitting on the table ready long enough for it to all be cold and soggy. So now I waited 45 mins to get cold food. I called from the parking lot and the manager and she offers to remake our food or give me $20 in coupons for next time. I ordered almost $40 worth of food. I decline and just drive home. I counted boxes and peaked to make sure it was correct items before I left. I did not count the things inside the boxes. I ordered mini corn dogs for one of my kids and he got 4 out of the 6 he was supposed to get and about a handful of fries. Sadly I know the food was hot at one point because most of the boxes had melted spots inside. Will not return. Sad quarantine Saturday...
Read moreFricker's is declining so bad. We've been going there for the last 10-15 years, and we noticed 3-4 years recently that everything's changed, the service wise. I was hesitant to give 1 star. However, I have to. We went back there last night (and 2 visits before in 2 months). My oh my.....the service was really slow! 3 different servers, around 7ish (not really busy), only 3 tables, and we waited over 1 hr to get our meals. The servers didn't check on us or at least informed the update on the meal (I used to work in food service industries, and we always informed customers-at least courtesy). The order was wrong. They gave me kinda BBQ sauce (dark, sweet flavor) instead of very hot sauce for my wings. The server said it's the very spicy one. Trust me, I've ordered this so many times, and I know what it looks like. She took it back and I had to wait for another 30 mnts for a new order. My family's almost done with their meal, and I got mine later. The server took off my order bill (thanks!), and I noticed she put " Nashville on side" on my 1st order and charged me on that (indicated for my very hot sauce). Also, she forgot to take off the free kid's meal on the bill. I reminded her, and she took it off. I said to my husband it's weird that Fricker's has this daily special meal (79 cents wing on Mon & Tues, Beef 7 bucks on Weds etc.) and the place is not even filled, it's pretty much dead. My husband said, " Because the service sucks!" Now I believe what he says. The last 3 visits recently within 2-3 months show the same patterns, service time, courtesy, etc., not improving. It's really sad seeing Fricker's is going down the...
Read moreFood was alright, but the manager seemed more or less incompetent. There were only 4 other tables worth of people in the restaurant, and the manager sat my large group of 8 people and 2 children at 2 separate tables, that were way too tall for our children, instead of placing us in the next room, with shorter tables that could easily be pushed together, which he stated he had no servers for. I'll repeat: There were only 4 other tables being served. It would have been a common sense and rather easy accommodation, but instead, he chose to split us all up. Seems more like they didn't want to walk the extra 20 feet with our food while they were relatively slow. Also, the initial child seat we received was missing a screw for the frontal cross bar, so it kept coming dislodged, which was a safety issue. We ended up having to get the only other one they had and using a stroller for my son. Also, the tall tables made this even more difficult because we couldn't put food in front of the kids and had to hand feed them. We most likely will not be coming back to this location in the future due to these issues. It shows a failure from the top down if a manager chooses not to make simple and reasonable accommodations in lieu of cutting even the smallest of corners. The only reason this got more than 1 star was because the food was actually good. My compliments to the people in...
