I will NEVER support this business again in my life! Owner is very rude and disrespectful. Not one customer service skill in his body. Very unprofessional!!

Back Story: My mom asked me to take her to get ice cream. So while there I figured I’d ask about a fundraiser. The boy who helped us was very kind and trying to be helpful. I asked him if they did fundraising. So he went to check and came back and said yes. I asked what kind of fundraising do they do. He want sure so he went again to check. The Owner, who is Austin Dunhour, comes from around the corner and says “I can’t help you right now so do you have any information” rude as ever. I said you know what, never mind. I said you being the owner, you were very rude and unprofessional. He then said “I have people coming in here all the time asking me for money” I said I’m not asking you for money and this was for a school event. I told the young kids thank you for your help and you guys were very nice. Now if he was busy he could have easily said “I’m busy right now could you come back or call me later” I would have said no problem. And table fact that he said “People come in here all the time asking me for money” Yup your right.

This was his response on Google Reviews. This is how he feels about the community. Also,

Never demanded to speak to him. The young man was trying to help me which he obviously didn’t know the answers so he went to ask the owner.

“I could have called or emailed” well I was in there supporting YOUR business at the time.

You were not happy to help. And I was not rude, I even thanked the young workers in there after your actions.

I had no idea you were “covered in grease” until you came around the corner starting the conversation with “ I don’t have time to talk to you”

You asked me for Information?? After you were rude & basically said you didn’t want to talk to me. I was trying to get Information on how your fundraisers work.

How did I not respect your time? You from the door did not want to speak to me.

And now we know how you feel about the community & how much we waste your time(99.999% of the time) But you forget to mention your business runs on that same...

We used to love this place, went every Sunday for a sundae. But we've been away for a couple of years. We went there today and got our old usual. The vanilla dipped IC flavor seemed a little off but was still OK; my issue was that I was getting clumps of what felt like gum in the ice cream that I had to spit out. I make ice cream at home and the ingredients should be very pure and very simple - I don't think that is happening here. I followed up by trying some of my wife's vanilla soft serve and OMG, it was like chalk! It literally was powdery, like eating the stuff they make you drink before getting an upper GI X-ray. I know soft serve is usually a powdered mix, but something was terribly wrong and we just threw it out. Our dog wouldn't even eat it. I hope the new owners will make the corrections necessary. I'm 70 years old and I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur; I make it and I eat it, a lot. OK, maybe I'm an addict. We will check back now and then to see but as of now, we won't be back for a while. I hope the new owners can fix the quality problems I'm seeing, it's such a nice place and has great...

Was in there and heard the way one of the staff (a man) was speaking down To the much younger staff members (barely teens)in such a derogatory & ignorant manner that I became concerned enough to ask for a manager and inquire as to why they would allow such a thing to occur..Especially in front of customers! Maybe they didn’t even know? Then I come to find out this so-called man is the manager. In fact he’s the OWNER…Dustin or maybe Austin ? Anyway all I have to say is PARENTS BEWARE!!! Because there are a lot of young kids working here and you should know how your children are being spoken to and treated. Absolutely disgraceful. Where are the manners and where is the respect that a manager is obligated to teach his employees not take away from them?? I was so disgusted and furious I could’ve spit - but he didn’t come back into the main area before I left.I have many friends who have recently inquired on this place near my house. And I will be sure to let them ALL know that they do not deserve our business This guy...
