Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in North Dakota

This location gets worse with every visit. I love caribou but these experiences make me never want to return. I have a lot of points in my app and I wanted to use them, they stated they would automatically apply and that they knew what reward I selected so I didn’t have to tell them when ordering. This seemed off but it was my first time using the rewards so I apologized and said okay. Approaching the window I explained that the total was incorrect and the size of my drink was as well… they proceeded to say they didn’t know and that they didn’t realize it wanted to use a reward even though I started by ordering by stating exactly that… I paid and left.

The next time we placed a mobile order to avoid the reward issue. The employees attempted to give me 2 different orders and sternly told me what I ordered. I pulled up the app and showed them that I know what I ordered. They proceeded to hand me a bunch of cups without labels and said they don’t know and we need to taste them all to figure out what’s what. I cannot have milk so I needed mine to be labeled. We placed an order for other people so we’re just supposed to all taste one another’s? It was just a mess.

The worst part of it all is the attitude the employees have. I can understand if it’s an extra busy day/time/you’re new/having a bad day I get it but when it’s a constant attitude issue and you blow us off like there’s nothing you can do, that’s a...

Every-time I go to Caribou I order the exact same beverage. I need to learn from my mistakes because everytime I go to this location they make my drink wrong, either it’s too sweet, there’s too much ice, or whatever the case is. I will go back through the drive thru if it doesn’t taste right and ask if they can remake it….in this case they still make my drink wrong. I’ve even tried to keep track of which workers make my drink well or don’t, I think the baristas overall need proper training because somebody must be training them on from recipes/ measurements incorrectly. I’ve Never ever had this issue at any other Caribou location, this one is the closest to my job and most convenient so I typically go here but will not be wasting my money...

Awesome location, but be aware - there is no "dine-in" or interior of this establishment for customers, contrary to the Google Maps listing for this Caribou Coffee. That said, service was fast and friendly in the drive through and the drinks were fantastic.

For reasons I couldn't understand given the enormous size of the parking lot, the curbs seemed awfully tight on the drive through? I didn't scrape my wheels but it sure seems like a large vehicle might.

I would happily come back to this location for great drinks again...
