Michael's Pizzeria — Restaurant in North East

I've been eating here for years. The thing that puts michael's over the other restaurants in NE (even the chains), is how generous they are with toppings. If you get an antipasta salad, for example, you're getting a mountain of a salad. Enough to feed 2-3 people. The taco salad is another salad worth mentioning. The pizzas have lots of topping as well. The best pizzas are the specialty pizzas. If you've never tried a breakfast pizza before, I reccommend you do it here. Taco pizza.. another favorite. Oh and also, if you've never had spinach and artichoke dip or are a big fan, you HAVE to try it here. No other restaurant compares to their artichoke dip!!!! Also... pizza logs. You're welcome.

You can also get their artichoke dip on a panini ...... seriously, try it.

The chili is homemade by the owners and is good, and also worth a mention is the cajun chicken pasta.. amazing, addicting taste.

The calzones are HUGE ,one is enough to feed two people or save the rest for later.

For dessert, get grape pie. I'm not even a pie person, but as other people have stated.. the grape...

As a local, this is my go-to pizza place. I usually do takeout, but they also offer seating both in the restaurant and in their attached winery. So you could do some adult beverage tasting while you are waiting or have a beverage with your meal. Outdoor seating also available on the back patio.

I appreciate their gluten-free options for myself. But I also have used Michael's for catering too and appreciate that I can get both regular and gluten-free pasta and pizza options. The Pizza was very good, it isn't greasy like a lot of pizza out there. They have an extensive menu with a lot of specialty pizzas, subs, etc. My children are boring so we got a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. they do their pepperoni in lines going up each slice which at first was amusing but it is really a nice touch. every slice had the same amount and it didn't fall off of the slice when cut. We will have to try more the next time that we are in the area.
