Angelias is easily my favorite and most frequented place to get food. Out of the hundreds (thousands, maybe?) of times I have ordered, they have messed up maybe 3 times. That's unbelievable consistency for the industry. Their location is super convenient for pick up (same plaza as my gym) and on the off chance I need delivery, they are always super fast. As food the food itself, I've tried nearly every menu item, and it blows away any competition. Imperial is a small, somewhat rural town, and for some reason we have about 8 pizza shops, and I won't willingly go to the other 7. Pizza isn't greasy at all like the other places (even if you get pepperoni), sauce is sweet and an important part of the flavor experience unlike other place's recipes. My favorite menu items are the small personal pizza and the calzone - both are a good size, inexpensive, and easily splittable into two meals if you combine it with another menu item. Keep on doing yo thang Angelia's!

We usually order from here every couple weeks, however the past few drivers have been very forgetful not bringing the receipt with them to the door assuming that they collected their tip over the phone. I have always been kind enough to call back in if they can’t find a receipt and add a tip anyway. However tonight was the last straw as the driver didn’t have a pen ( I let him keep mine) my order was completely wrong, and the only explanation I could get was make your kids wait for another 45 min for dinner so we can bring you a new one (but we want the old one back) or we will credit you $1.50 for the toppings we got wrong. How about instead you credit me back the $10 tip I gave your driver, and half a pizza for the half you couldn’t get right? Outright rude service which is sad because 98% of the time the food is great.

This is my favorite local pizza place and every single person who has visited me at my home has said that this is one of the best (red sauce) pizzas that they have had. The regular crust is great and the Sicilian is also really good. If you like garlic butter, you have to get the breadsticks! My only complaint about their food is that they don't make a traditional white pizza with garlic butter, it's more like an Italian seasoning, which I really don't care for. Unfortunately, when I'm in the mood for white pizza I get it from someplace else. They have plenty of room in the dining room and you can buy alcohol in cans as well. They have a great rewards program and I've never waited more than 20 minutes for a pickup order. There is a charge for using a credit card, so cash is king.

This place isn't training their people properly. I've been going to Angelia's for about 12 years. In the past year, ownership has changed hands and it shows. A few weeks ago I ordered a Crafton Lunch Special and it 100% has Swiss Cheese on it which is wrong. Honest mistake. Last week I went in and ordered the Crafton Lunch Special. The board shows the Lunch Special is $12. The girl behind the register quoted me something in the $16 vicinity and my jaw hit the floor. I was just like, are you sure? Needless to say, she forgot to hit a button. Honest mistake. Then today I went in and ordered the same thing. The guy behind the counter asked if I was military and I replied "yes, how did you know?" Long story short, they have a 20% military discount. So a $12 meal minus 20% plus tax right? He charged me $13.88. I asked him how that could possibly be if the lunch special is $12. He rang it up as sandwich, fries, and a drink which comes out to about $15.50 minus 20% ($3.10) plus tax = $13.88. Well, that may be but the special is still cheaper ($12.00 plus tax = $12.84) than $13.88 with no military discount. Don't even get me started on how the military discount should be on the special. However, if you can only apply one discount, the special or the military discount, just give me whichever one is cheaper. My buddy just laughed at me and said "Thank you for your service..." Yeah man, I'm not asking for special treatment but if you're doing me a favor,...
