I spent the first 40 years of my life living on the boarder of Philadelphia PA and they just have great pizza. Moved to Wheeling WV October 2020 and I have to say, since moving to WV this is the first pizza I have had where the undercarriage (the crust) was done right. I was dropping my daughter off at the airport, googled pizzas in the area and choose this place to review. Glad I did. They were friendly, Fast and convenient. Have gone to Dons for probably 45 years. When I was a kid it was Dons pizza and Evergood donuts every Sunday night. The pizza hasn't changed in all those years. Thin crust like no other, pepperoni and crumpled sausage are the bomb! To top it off take your large pizza home in a bag. I will swear that the bag makes the taste even better. If pizza is not your "bag" the Italian hoagies are as good as they come. Fresh buns, good meats and the special dressing. I ask for pizza sausage added for a little extra taste. I had ordered from here before and had a good experience but never again. I bought a card from the WA Baseball team as a fundraiser. The card says $10 for a one topping pizza at Don’s. I ask for that and to add two toppings. The owner, or someone claiming to be owner, says his brother does these stupid marketing things and he doesn’t like it. He’s not gonna let me pay for two extra toppings. He gave me serious attitude about it. He was more than happy to lose my business over this. Well he has lost it forever.
