Stopped for breakfast this morning and had to use the drive thru due to the dining room not being opened. This along with the McDonald on West Liberty Ave. are the only ones I know of not open. Imperial location was renovated at least a year ago and still not offering dining room service. I was told by the person in the drive thru they are still working on it which is false. I wanted a coffee refill and came back through the drive thru to the window that services the food orders and the employee looked shocked to see me and when I asked for a coffee refill, she got another employee which I assume was a manager. I was told they don't give free refills, the location is independent and don't follow what the other McDonald's offer. This was news to me which I could care less. I was told if I wanted a refill, it would cost me $1.07. The employees at the food service window were stone faces, no smiles, no dialogue with the customer, "hello, thank you, can I get you something else, go to hell", NOTHING.I couldn't understand the one and the supposed manager wasn't much better. They both appeared to have communication issues. I have been to many McDonald locations locally, outside of Pittsburgh and out of state and never told they could not give me a beverage refill unless I paid. I have heard the stories about the is location and rarely stop due to it's unfavorable history. I would give it "ZERO" stars if available. I will be sure to contact McDonald's cooperate to voice my concerns about this location. The reviews tell the tale...
Read moreWorst place ever I stopped to pick up a delivery stood at the counter for 10 minutes without being acknowledged then a gentleman comes over. Turns out he’s a manager throws a bag at me and says you’re here for delivery so I go deliver the food I come back thinking I’m a grab breakfast go through the drive-through it’s 1029. The person run and drive-through waits until 1030 to answer the speaker And answers with. Are you using your mobile app we’re serving serving lunch by the way I’m instantly irritated second ignorant rude experience within half an hour. I pull over to the gas station across the street and call and the manager I get just keeps giving me excuses about how she’s in the back. She’s in the kitchen. She’s doing food safety she literally just threw the food away. It was there when I was in the drive-through offers no kind of Fix just says OK. Well, I’ll tell him and tells me the gentleman who threw the order at me and her words yet the Venezuelan boys a manager too like I didn’t need to know his background and if he’s a manager and acting that way, what kind of training did he receive to just leave you standing at the counter would not even high welcome to McDonald’s completely disappointed and offended by The service or...
Read moreNever have I been to a McDonalds where I felt like I was putting them out by wanting to walk in and order at the counter and sit down inside instead of using the drive thru. ... the counter help took the orders of 2 folks in front of me and there was even a couple behind me as well .. then without even an acknowledgment that we were standing in line just walked off and never came back... for the next 5 almost 10 minutes not one single person INCLUDING the store manager who was right there acknowledged that any of us were standing in line to order... never even made eye contact ... and when the girl handing out the completed orders finally decided that she could take our orders she didn't even apologize for the wait not even when I made a comment about it.. she just flat out ignored it.. and absolutely NO customer service personality once so ever ... it was like ordering at the kiosk she was so in personal... if you are a business and you only want people to use the drive thru then DO NOT HAVE A LOBBY OR A COUNTER IN THE FIRST PLACE ... learn to show at least a smidgen of appreciation for and consideration of your walk in...
