I was very disappointed in my visit yesterday. We visit often and I usually don’t write a review, but they asked me how my visit was so I feel I will share. There wasn’t a wait, but I added us to the waitlist via the app just in case. We got sat with a few other families right away. We sat a few minutes and another server got our drinks and said our actual server was getting caught up and would be with us shortly. I used to be a waitress so I totally understand that. Mind you we have 3 small children and were ready to order because we are on borrowed time so we order right away. She brought our drinks and we then waited for a good 20 minutes before our server came to get our orders. After getting our orders, we waited and waited and waited. After an hour of sitting and still not received our food, I finally went to speak to a manager. At that point my kids were starving and getting super antsy as were my husband and I. The manager went in the back. Meanwhile our server came out with biscuits because it was taking so long. Shortly after the manager came with our food. We were missing 2 orders of toast and they brought out my husband’s blackened on part of it (burnt) and I never received mine. It took our waiter until we were almost done to even come by to check on us and at that point I got up to get my own condiment I was needing from another table. At that point my eggs were dried up and the toast wasn’t even needed anymore. There was no further checking on us or recognition of the fact that we waited over an hour for breakfast food and 2 kid meals. I’ve worked in the service industry as I stated and am aware of how it works and have compassion and patience but this was unacceptable. Another server came to check if we wanted water and I asked her for our boxes and after I was packed up our server came to see if we needed them and gave me our check. Nothing else mentioned on the service or wait or anything or the fact that the manager needed to get our food. Just really disappointed and far more time wasted waiting for a meal when there was no wait or tables full as we typically love Cracker Barrel but I don’t feel the service we were given was anywhere near it...
Read moreCracker Barrel Ft Myers 6-30-25 Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon about 4pm. They were not that busy, so we got seated right away. This place was neat and clean. We had to try the Campfire Chicken and our waitress was on the ball with our drink order and she also took our food order at the same time. My wife and I ordered the Campfire Chicken which consisted of Half Chicken slow cooked, 2 small ears of Corn, 2 small Potatoes, 5 Carrots, 5 Tomatoes, and Onions in a broth with Biscuits or Corn Muffins on the side. My wife also ordered a side Salad. Our friend ordered a Burger and Fries. The Salad came out first and it looked good everything on it tasted fresh. Our Campfire Chickens came out next and when we opened the foil, they looked amazing and smelled great. On a main note, these Campfire Chickens are a little messy because everything lays in all the Broth. I found you just double dip everything into that Broth to boost the flavor even more. Everything in these were very good from the Potatoes, Carrots, Corn and even the Onions and Tomatoes were good. The Chicken was very juicy, not dry at all. I must admit I knew I was going to order this Chicken, so I took some Blackened seasoning along to sprinkle on half my Chicken, Corn, and Potatoes. I love Blackened seasoning on Chicken and Fish. In my opinion it kicked this Campfire Chicken up a notch and maybe in the future they will offer that option for this dish. Even on the half without the Blackened seasoning the dish was still excellent. Both our Campfire Chickens were hot and there was plenty of food in this dish to eat and we were stuffed when done. We will order this again for sure. My friend stated his Burger and Fries were very good. On a side note, the waitress had a hard time delivering a sweet Tea and an unsweet Tea without mixing them up. Some of us cannot have sugar because of being a diabetic so it is important to get the drinks right. I will give this Cracker Barrel 4 out of 5 stars as I subtracted one star because of the Ice Tea mix up twice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On Fb For More Review &...

Online orders don't accept gift cards, even ones that can be ran as credit. It requires an address and you can't get around that.
That made us call - we called in our order. We forgot to specify we wanted blueberry pancakes (don't know if we were supposed to be asked for that or not). We realized our mistake and I called back within 20 seconds of hanging up. It took about a minute to get through the system to get to someone (I have my call logs, I was quick). When I asked politely to adjust our order I was told that it was too late. It was already sent back to the kitchen and there was nothing she could do. When I pressed (I was shocked because I had just gotten off the phone), I was told that I could order more pancakes separately or put the blueberries on the side.
I disconnected the call because I couldn't process that they couldn't change something so simple. So I called back. I asked politely if there really wasn't something they could do to change this, I was put on hold and was told that they could make that change. Then I was told to make sure to not make a mistake next time when I order my food. I told her that humans make mistakes, and was told to have a good day.
I shouldn't be shamed for forgetting a part of my order, and having to call twice to fix it, or order another order of food just to fix food that likely wasn't even started yet. Good on you if you can start an order of pancakes that fast. Also why not keep them under a hot plate or send them out with a different order?
If your online ordering system properly handled gift cards - I wouldn't have had to make such a frustrating call to someone who obviously wasn't having a good day.
Also - coincidentally most of the blueberries were dumped in one spot.
It would have been three stars, but the online system caused this problem in the first place. So minus a star for that. The order was right, and was fixed - but it was a pain to do so and shouldn't have happened...
