Palmas de Medallo — Restaurant in North Fort Myers

My husband andI went to their Christmas party Nov 9, 2024 and they charged us $45 for a bottle of Aquardente which costs only $18 dollars a bottle at the liquor store- more than 50% mark up. They also charged us $20 per person to make a reservation but didn’t give us the wristbands until after we ordered food when the wristbands included food. Needless to say at that point the wristbands weren’t needed.The DJ was terrible with the mic having feedback. Their special of the night had an odor that made me sick to my stomach - thank God it was not mine. I ordered the yellow potatoes with parmigiana cheese and they arrived cold. I sent them back but they charged me for them anyway. $10. Their drinks were $10 per shot. Overall it was not worth the $285 with the reservation cost and the food purchased.I will say that the waitress and the other workers were very nice. Will I go back? Absolutely not. Maybe they need more time to reconsider their prices and their food. For me as an American the answer is a resounding no. For my husband who is Colombian he enjoyed his time there. But he left super drunk and thank God I only had water because he had way too much to drink and they let him. Will I be back? No. Will I let my husband back? No. I realize that they have only been open a month. But they need to reconsider their choices on pricing. Especially because they are in North Fort Myers and not Miami. Overall opinion it’s not...

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The parking lot is spacious, making it easy to find a spot. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the waitresses at the entrance with big smiles, setting a friendly tone for our visit.

The atmosphere inside strikes a perfect balance between fun and elegance, making it an enjoyable place for all. While we chose to sit inside, I noticed the lovely outdoor couches that would be perfect for relaxing.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the cocktail was perfectly delicious! The prices were very reasonable—not expensive at all. As a family with two young kids (ages 4 and 2), we appreciated how family-friendly the restaurant is. They quickly provided us with a high chair, and the kids' menu was fantastic with perfectly portioned meals.

Just wow! If you are looking for delicious food, drinks, and a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go. The decorations inside are pretty as well, makes you feel like you are at a restaurant in Colombia, I have gone twice already since they opened and enjoyed every minute of it!
