Super impressed with this new spot in town and I can't believe it took me so long to get here.
My wife and I came in here Saturday evening for dinner and the place was empty! The waiter said its typically way busier but it was a holiday weekend. This place deserves to be packed.
Food: We ordered the mixed grill platter for two, which includes 4 cold appetizers, 1 hot appetizer, salad, and the mixed grill platter. WOW was this a lot of food! It ended up being dinner the next night as well.
The waiter helped us pick out the cold appetizers as we were lost, and he did not disappoint. My wife and i were both so impressed with our choosing, I'd go back and just get all the different appetizers and dip cheese sticks in them until i explode lol. Everything was so fresh and delicious, the salad great and we were stuffed - but this was only the start!
They brought out a plate fit for a king, stacked with lamb, chicken and rice we both realized we ordered too much food. It was all so delicious and i left that place needing my couch.
Service: The waiter was so helpful with his knowledge on the dishes he directed us so well on what to choose. Because it was slow that night we were able to talk to him for a while and found he was such a nice guy. Very intelligent, nice and professional. The food came out quickly and i can't complain about a thing.
The bathroom was clean, and the ambiance was nice a quiet as we were the only people in there so it was wonderful.
I cant wait to come back here. Buried in a sea of Italian restaurants and burger spots this place is an absolute gem. We need more spots like this around our area and i hope they get as much business as possible. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for - quality and portion size. I would absolutely recommend coming here and hope they do well.
Also, order the...
Read moreWe ordered dinner for pick-up the 1st time, no delivery. Food was a bit pricy, tasted good, portions ok, bread was fresh . Guy was very nice on the phone. The second time there was a little less food & the Turkish bread was super stale & hard. We know the good bakery it came from. We decided to give them one more chance by dining outside on a beautiful day. When we arrived, no customers were there, only two super young guys working. The 1st floor space to the left was dark & looked abandoned. We were told they would not serve us in the newer beautiful downstairs / outside patio. When we asked why, the kid incoherently mumbled something about construction. There was NO construction or materials outside. Up two sets of stairs one ends up in an oddly laid out room that seems just as tired, bland and old. At least they had (too loud) speaker Arabic music. We shared our previous experience requesting the bread be fresh, which is very central to good Arabic food. Part of the order was their version of a gyro but were told "Oh, that is a take-out menu item which cannot be purchased / served for in house seating / dining." By then two other people arrived. He agreed to make us a gyro sandwich on bread. Wouldn’t you know, we were served meat & lettuce etc on a cheap, hard, store bought Tex-Mex TORTILLIA!! We then had to buy a Ramazan Pidesi -flatbread to make the sandwich ourselves at the table. The platter & side portions were also small. Food is expensive for what you get. It’s sad because we love supporting little towns. There are other nearby establishments that invested a ton of heart, money & time renovating spaces that failed. All this happened just before people allowed the plan-demic to shut everything down for way too long. We were hopeful & wish them the best, but it doesn’t look...
