Stellato's Deli & Catering — Restaurant in North Haven

Stellato's is a very clean tidy deli. They do catering and have a lot of sandwiches options. The place is small so it could get crowded quickly, however the times I go there it never really is crowded. The prices are competitive on the sandwiches side, but the drinks, chips, cookies and what not are on the high side. You have to have an $8 dollar minimum credit/debit card purchase, which is very stupid now a days in my opinion and has led me to not go there as often as I would. The staff is very professional and friendly although if it wasn't for the Fox News constantly playing on the tiny TV, the place would be like a graveyard! Ok so lately there's a little more chatting and conversating between the cooks (which is cool) so it seems they click. You won't be disappointed! We always go here for BEC but decided to try their catering for a Thanksgiving turkey. We host 25+ people every year, and they all agreed this was the best turkey yet! Stellato's even sliced it and organized it neatly into a tray, which fit perfectly into a warming drawer. With a recent surgery holding us back, our plan was to do this just for this year and go back to making it ourselves. Chose Stellato's Deli to cater the food for a graduation celebration! I purchased a Classic Sandwich platter and a Gourmet Sandwich platter. This also came with Green Salad, Pasta Salad, and Cookies. Everything was very delicious. I had purchased a separate sandwich for a guest with dietary restrictions and accidently didn't pick it up with my order.
