Tacos y Hot Dogs Sonora — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

So I live in Reno but am in town this week visiting friends. We were sitting at the house hungry and wanted good tacos. So I googled "good tacos near me" and this place showed up. I won't like, I side-eyed the name or the business because I was like who wants to get good tacos from a place that's serving hot dogs too. Right? WRONG! Let me tell you. I went up there to order food and the owner was behind the register. He was super helpful answering all of my menu questions. He also came from behind the counter and showed me a video of how the Papancha is made and completely swayed my mind from ordering Asada fries to the Papancha.

The food did not disappoint. It was all so amazingly good. I ordered the papancha, quesabirria, 5 asada tacos and 1 pollo taco (not all for me). Everything smelled amazing and tasted just as equally good. I will definitely try to go back before my I leave town in a couple days. I'm determined to get the Asada fries and maybe even a hot dog. Tacos Y Hotdogs Sonora brings the true flavor of Sonora, Mexico to life. If I’m not mistaken, the owner is originally from Ciudad Obregón, which happens to be where my family is from as well—so having a slice of home like this means so much to me.

The food is always delicious, authentic, and satisfying, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Their pricing is fair, especially considering the quality and generous portion sizes. Wonderful experience. We we're looking for something for dinner. So we stopped here not knowing what to expect. As I don't eat meat in their menu was primarily meat based.
