The Eye Care Center — Local services in North Las Vegas

The worst experience I have ever had at any eye care place. I live about an hour and a half away from Vegas not including how far away their location is. I had came here to pick up some glasses just to pick them up there was traffic that day so I had called the office and explain my situation that I’m going to be late I know they close at 5 but I’ll be there by 4:57 to which i know seems unreasonable which she could have told me on the phone that it’s not enough time or whatever might be the case but instead she told me it was okay because I’m just coming to pick up some glasses and we close at 5 so anytime before 5 is okay I come all the way there knock at the door and as I get there everyone’s leaving at that point I’m frustrated because I was told it was okay so I asked the lady’s I had just called and she said those calls don’t come to this office they come to our other office…. so does the other office close at the time there supposed and this office they close at whatever time they want before 5 like what’s the difference???? I wouldn’t have wasted gas to come all the way down if I knew they would have let me get them. So of course me and my family are so done with this place we just wanted to get our glasses and prescription and never come back but when my sister went to order her glasses she realized it wasn’t even her prescription but someone else’s so we don’t even want to go there to waste our time because we shouldn’t have to they should be doing their jobs right but we call anyways and ask if they can email it to us but they want an email saying we give them permission for it to be sent it’s been five minutes and the email hasn’t came so we call she tells us that when she has time she will do it??? But Every time I come in you guys are just talking to each other And if it would have been a moment she could have said that so we weren’t waiting 10 mins by the phone waiting for the email so my sister could order her glasses. So we are super fed up with this place so I want to make a complaint so who ever runs this place can get an idea of the staff that’s absolutely making this place look bad as I’ve seen other people making reviews with the same bad review that the staff is horrible. I called the number and asked to speak to someone for a complaint and this lady named Lexi told me she could take it so I tell her everything that has happened and at the end she tells me “ what do you want me to do about it” Maybe the same exact thing you would want if someone had treating you like that. so asked her is their anyone else like maybe the person who owns it she said no that I can only tell her because she’s office management and I ask her if she’s the owner which she tells me she’s partially so I ask her if I can get the number to the other part and she tells me she can’t be giving out his number but they sure can be giving out other peoples prescriptions with their...

Absolutely love this location my mom and me had the best experience with staff here. Considering the fact that we haven’t always had the best experience as people can be really dismissive of my mom who only speaks spanish, We did not feel any of that negativity here though. Originally we tried to be seen at the Durango location as it’s closer to her but the entire time we were there we felt as though they did not want us there! We’ve since decided on this location as it’s not too far from me at least. The girl upfront welcomed us in and took her time to help my mom with the paper since it was in english. The other girl who helped with my moms exam made her feel so at ease and had even made my mom laugh when she would get anxious. I went to the eyecare location off of Civic Center my appointment was today, June 20, 2024. The provider name, Kathleen Fletcher she’s extremely professional, very kind and courteous. it’s always very clean. But when I get to the front desk, I hand the young lady my ID and my insurance card. I was polite.. She was so rude so after that, when I reached out to get my information back, she went past my hand and laid my information on the counter. I explained to her that was super rude. you could’ve, gave it back to me in my hand.. it was not the lady on the computer. It was The young lady that takes you in the The room for your first eye exam. The beautiful young lady that greets you if you have an appointment at the computer, she’s always extremely nice.
