Tortas Mexico — Restaurant in North Little Rock

First off the A.C. dont work!! My family and I felt very singled out because we were not Mexican. The woman pretended to not understand English. When I know for a fact from being an uber eats driver she knows English. When we ask for soda to drink she then asked if we wanted fountain drinks or bottles. When we ask for fountain drinks she smirks and says 'it don't work'. Like why even ask if we only had one choice!! She just made my family feel unwelcome and out of place. Me and my son have spent over 2 weeks in children's hospital and we had gotten a day pass to get away from the hospital. We made a family decision to eat at THIS specific restaurant. When leaving we made another family decision to NEVER come back. The only decent thing was the food, even though the portions were small for such a large price, it was not awful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE NOT HISPANIC. They will make you feel unwelcome while talking about you in Spanish at the front counter...

The instant you walk in the space feels warm and inviting. The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their tortas are the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the tlaxcalteca torta. It's loaded with beef, grilled onions, jalapeno, cilantro, lime and panela cheese and is a bomb of amazing flavor (though I get mine without cilantro). I find their creamy green sauce pairs well with the lime in the torta. They also carry Jarritos' grapefruit soda which thrilled me to no end. Their serving sizes are very generous. I can't even finish half my torta and have another half for lunch the next day that heats up incredibly well in my air fryer. This place is worth a visit and you can expect to leave very full...

Love this place! Patty & Jordy are wonderful folks. This small business is 🇺🇸 a tribute to Mom & Pop businesses. The is clean and family friendly. The staff is Not Rude to non Spanish speaking guests (like the neighbouring Las Delicious down the street.) Everyone...we mean EVERYONE is made to feel welcomed here. The food is wonderful, service is spot on, and the 2020 cleanliness guidelines are followed (unlike Two Sisters in Sherwood.) We love the tilapia, sauces, and chips. But, everything on the menu seems to be GREAT! The decor makes one feel they are in a quant back street cafe in Cozumel! KUDOS to Torta Mexican...
