La Granja NMB 2 — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

If I could give this place a negative zero I would! Me and my mother have been waiting at the drive thru to get our orders taken for 10mins! The young lady told us to hold on and never came back. I decided to call the store to find out if they were busy on the inside. The young woman who picked up didn’t speak not one freaking English and gives the phone to a man. I asked him do you speak English and he said yes. So, I asked are you guys busy on the inside and he’s like what?! Are you guys serving a lot of people on the inside, the man hangs the phone up on me. That’s when I took the initiative to go inside and find out what’s going on. When I tell you these co-workers were just leaning against the counter and registers, having a group conversation in the back, doing absolutely nothing! The only person I seen doing their job was the guy that was throwing out the trash!!!!!!!!! I asked the guy who was at the counter can I speak to a manager, he walks to the back and comes to the front with a dumbfound look on his face like he doesn’t understand the words M-A-N-A-G-E-R! I said don’t worry about it and walked out. Another thing there was a car that pulled up behind us after I walked into the restaurant, who also left once they seen that I had walked out of the restaurant to get into a vehicle that was waiting at the drive thru speaker. Maybe you guys need to reconsider about WHO you hire and retrain or fired the ones that are working there now. Extremely horrible disgusting bad customer service here. I was trying to figure out where I should have my last meal here in Miami and I came across this lovely establishment. I am so glad that I did! The food was amazing and reminds me of going to a local Latin restaurant in Washington Heights NYC. I ordered the 1/4 chicken special with white rice, black beans, yellow sweet plantains and a mango drink. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor, the rice and beans were delicious and the yellow sweet plantains were the perfect addition to this meal (I feel you have to have yellow sweet plantains in almost every Latin meal... that's the New Yorker in me). The mango drink was so refreshing and a great finish to a perfect meal. Everything came out piping hot, just the way I like it. Service was quick and friendly, at an affordable price. Sorry I didn't take this pic before digging in but I just could not wait to experience this because I knew the food would be good. I didn't think it would be AWESOME!!! I found out there are other locations in Florida, especially in the Ft Lauderdale area (which I will move to). I cannot wait to come back here again!! Every time I come here they give me attitude and I keep coming back for the food and being extra nice to these people I don't know if they own the place but they need to restructure there customer service, not like I've asked for anything out of the necessary, they ask if we want any sauces and when we ask they make faces like we are making them work harder. Ive asked for my receipt one time as well and they responded why would I need it like I was wasting their paper sorry for asking but I would love a copy of my receipt please. And to top it off they never give me any napkins I'm very unsatisfied with the service if it wasn't for the cooks and their great food I would NEVER COME BACK .. and it's the Spanish 2 lady's that are either at window one young and the other a little older. VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. But it's definitely not the old lady she's usually quiet . But yeah this sucks there service is going to make me NOT COME BACK.
