La Peruanita Restaurant — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

STAY AWAY THEY CHARGE MORE THAN STATED IN MENU AT THE END, I’m Peruvian and I do not recommend this place Only reason I give 2 stars is because I liked the chicken soup ( it’s a chicken soup... can’t go wrong with something that simple ), bad service in general the ceviche was really bad, the fish was ok but the marinated ceviche sauce wasnt fresh, ceviche is all about fresh ingredients got to improve there guys , but the bad experience came when I see the bill and they charged me 2 dollars more (10.99) instead of 8.99 for the chicken soup as is stated on the menu, the server was rude and I think she owns the place by her bad Attitude , anyways I asked her in a good way to change the bill to the pride it said on the menu and she didn’t even stop to listen to my concern she rushed to take out a menu where the price was schratched and hand corrected to 10:99, told me they haven’t change all the menus and continued her busisnes left me standing there, it’s not about the 2 dollars it’s about feeling good as a customer, hope they understand the importance of having information clear and do not give a customer bad attitude because we go to your busisnes and pay to be treated correctly , won’t give this a...

I was in a good mood tonight until I came to this restaurant. I Ordered the stir fry seafood noodles, and it came out with a lot of soup in the dish. And it taste horrible, the waitress told me she can have it fixed but when it came out it’s the same taste without the soup. It’s so flavorless that I couldn’t finish the dish. The worst so call “Stir-fry noddle” ever! And when I receive the check I found out that They try to force me to pay 20% tips. so I told them tips should not be part of my check. so they removed it but when I gave them my credit card , they told me they will charge me $0.99 for using cards instead of cash. Omg, this is the first time I heard about that, all the restaurants I went I never changed me extra for using credit card. They are so hungry for the money, if I didn’t notice the 20% tips I would probably pay another 15% tips on top of the tips. So shady! Now I know why there was nobody at the restaurant when I was there, everything happened...

If I could leave a negative 5 stars, I would. This restaurant not only did not have the picarones available AS advertised, they changed my order to arroz con leche, something completely different I did not ask for. Wooooow, or maybe I never knew that arroz con leche was soooo similar to picarones!

I could not change the order for a full refund, so I had to go out of my way to requesting DoorDash to refund me AFTER the order was completed. Well, I suppose it was for the best. This shady restaurant not only lost my business, but they got a negative review instead. Thanks for the free yet subpar arroz con leche!

P.S. This isn't the first time either. Another customer I told this story to told me that she ordered plain rice and they gave her a different rice platter and overcharged her $17 for it. I don't know what kind of honest establishment does...
