Drinks: 5 stars Ambiance/decor: 4 stars (interior is really cool but 100% different from patio) Service: 1 star (and only a star at all because bartender was good at his job) I want to preface this review with a note that I really make an effort to only leave positive reviews, but I've never had an experience like this before. Especially not with Miami Spice!! Use caution if you come here for Miami Spice. We had a drink at the bar before our res (it was happy hour). The drink was great (their specialty, the Illegalito), but we had to wait a while because the bar was understocked (even though it wasn't busy - but maybe it was busy right before we got there, who knows). Bartender handled it well, no issue with him. We've both worked in service, so we thought: "Maybe they just have really new staff here?" After drinks we went to the restaurant for our reservation. First of all, this restaurant is actually part of the iPic movie theatre (we had no idea before we got there, they don't mention it on the website). When the host seated us, he told us that we had just missed the Miami Spice deal because it was only during happy hour, which ended at 7pm (it was 7:30pm). We told him that made absolutely no sense so he went to look for backup. A server pulled him "aside" (aka right in front of us) and told him something. He came back and told us that we could only do the Miami Spice deal within an hour before or after seeing a movie. Since we made our reservation through OpenTable (and because this information was available literally no where) we told him that also didn't make sense. He said "okay" and walked away. Then the server came up and asked if we were seeing a movie. We said "no" and she walked away. At this point we were the only people in the restaurant trying to eat dinner (the few other people were just drinking). They clearly thought we were a burden even though the place was almost empty (they gave us a lot of cold looks). At that point we felt so uncomfortable that we spent a while deliberating if we even wanted to stay. 10-15 minutes later we decided to go. As we were carrying the menus back to the front to tell them we were leaving, the server came and asked if we were ready to order. She hadn't even brought us water at this point (Miami Spice dinner is $50....). The restaurant had a really cool vibe and the book mural wall is AWESOME but it seems like they have a very new staff that hasn't been properly trained. Maybe they don't expect people to come in that aren't seeing a movie? But then why do the website, Google page, and Miami Spice page make it seem like a normal restaurant?

The Tuck Room... Conveniently tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza... As you walk up they have a well designed entrance that sets the tone for your experience there as well as an outside seating area that's connected to an open bar. We originally sat at the bar where we were greeted almost immediately as we sat down with a friendly smile and a menu. Luckily, we were able to try out their curated happy hour menu. There were so many great options although you can see what we decided on in our post. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! The drinks were mixed perfectly and had a complex flavor that was an experience in itself. The food was made fresh and came out hot and ready to be eaten which we ate every bite! From the ambience to the food and down to the customer service this place was amazing; A true dining experience! (Huge thanks to the bartender/DJ that created a wonderful atmosphere for us and was super attentive even though we moved to the couches— Which by the way are super comfy and firm!) STRONGLY SUGGEST THE PEAR DRINK GOLD STAR⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you're hunting for an experience that combines a cozy ambiance with world-class cocktails, The Tuck Room in Golden Glades is where you should head. Nestled away from the hustle, this place is an oasis of relaxation and enjoyment. They serve some of the best margaritas I've had the pleasure of tasting. Crafted to perfection, these cocktails have the right balance of tangy, sweet, and just the perfect hint of tequila's bold kick. Each sip feels like a well-orchestrated symphony for your taste buds. But what truly elevates this place from great to exceptional is the bartender. They bring a mix of professionalism, warmth, and flair that makes you feel both valued and entertained. Not only do they whip up cocktails with precision, but they also add a personal touch—sharing stories and cocktail secrets that make your visit unique and memorable. The Tuck Room is more than just a bar; it's an experience. Whether you're a cocktail aficionado or just looking for a great evening out, this spot will leave you planning your next visit before you've even left.

As we waited for the waitress/Hostess to knowledge our arrival, we instead had to seat ourselves. Once the waitress arrived to the table she presented the menus and took our drink order. She returned with our drinks 30 minutes later. She proceeded to take our order and returned almost 45 minutes later with the food. In the meantime, I was being attacked by mosquitoes and they had only to OFF candle mosquito repellents, which weren't working😒. Due to the constant Mosquito attacks, I was ready to leave. We called the waitress over and requested the check. She walked away and stood near the register and went on Instagram and proceeded to "like" pictures instead of retrieving the check. After approximately 15 minutes later, the busboy comes by and we requested him to get the check. He then walks away and tells the waitress to get the check and stop playing on Instagram. She then brushes him off and continued playing with her phone. Ultimately, I decided to call her myself and she still took long with the check🙄. I will never return back to this place....
