DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT RUSSIAN. IF YOU ARE NOT RUSSIAN YOU ARE NOT WELCOME. THEY WILL NOT WELCOME YOU. THEY ARE RACIST. I feel absolutely terrible for any Asian, PI, Indian, Black, MI, or apparent Hispanic individual who comes here. I want everyone to keep in mind that I’m a white blonde female, who often gets mistaken for as Russian. I’m Hispanic. The way they treated my friend and I was so incredibly terrible. From the moment we walked in, they tried to greet me by saying “PRIVET!” Which means “Hello!” in Russian. When I didn’t answer or speak in Russian, the looks that were given to me were so piercing, I thought I’d be killed by just getting gazed at. NEVER, in my entire life (an I’m not a Karen, I’m telling you!) have I ever felt discriminated against. This is how so many ethnicities get treated on a day to day basis, and i now know, a smidget of what it feels like. This establishment NEEDS to be SHUT DOWN. They talked about us, laughed at us, made us feel less worthy, overcharged us without telling us. My friend is happy go lucky, won’t let anyone bring her down, I thought for sure she would even want to leave. She told me not to let them bother us, and to have a good time. I couldn’t. Even the Russian guests were terribly rude to us. I understand they want a place to hangout because they’re in the states and want a place just for them, but to treat people like this is uncalled for. Perhaps even seat us away from others and go on about your business. Lie to us! Tell us a section is closed! Anything but treat us in the nastiest manner possible. They ought to be ashamed of themselves! The beautiful female bartender needs a lesson in etiquette and manners, or be fired. Beauty on the inside is important too. NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!!!!!
(By the way if STAFF responds and says “We have no record of you ever being here” What record would they have? We paid cash. Don’t let their...
Read moreCame here last night with my wife for some hookah and a little relaxation. The owner greeted us and spent quite some time with us explaining the teas, hookahs, menu. Ilona (server) helped us as well and was very lovely. You can tell she is very experienced and passionate about the menu.
The Hubble bubble tea with fruit came recommended - it was incredible. We also ordered the cheese curd dessert (sirniki) topped with a poppy seed paste - also incredible. We were told a fresh batch was made daily to ensure every customer gets the same perfect experience. The presentation of everything that was brought out was beautiful - from the little golden forks to the dual wall little tea glasses.
We were undecided as to which hookah flavor to get and asked the hookah server (Dima) to surprise us with something good. Well that “something good” turned into something amazing. It was a mixture of like 5 different fruit flavors, and I can honestly say it was the best hookah experience we’ve ever had. The hookah itself was beautiful. It was sleek, clean, modern and simply beautiful to look at. Dima was very attentive and came back often to adjust the coals and to check on our experience.
The menu is not big or overwhelming, which is great and also allows for everything to be fresh and made to order. Unfortunately we weren’t hungry enough to try everything we wanted, but we plan on coming back very soon. We were also told they have 50% off of everything (no exclusions!) from 5-7PM daily. I don’t know if a better deal exists anywhere! But even if you’re there at night, the prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting.
I hardly ever do reviews, but for this place I just had to…and with pleasure. We cannot wait to tell our friends and family about it so they can enjoy it like we did.
Thank you to Vitalli/Ilona/Dima for a wonderful and special...
Read moreIt is not a bad place. But hookah quality is below average. You can smell low end quality charcoal and plastic pipe that wasn't washed properly in a while. Even though cocktails were really good. I was badly surprised when our waitress gave us check saying " 20% tips already included". Don't get me wrong I always give tips. I've been to 38 states in different places. Even in NY I've never seen restaurant included 20% tips by default. But in this case guys trying to charge decent money for 3 martini and hookah around 110$. Plus 20% tips brings to 147$. Basically you charge money that you think make your business profiatable. And in the same money it's not enough for them. When you suggest tips (10, 15 or 20%) you already look like a beggar. In this case they don't even beg you....they try to rip you off. And it is not a question of law ...it is a question of customer experience. Well I ate it. They got their 20%. Will I come here again? No. It will be more honest to make prices higher and be clear with you customers rather than just rip people off.
P.S. really? Only because I've been to 38 states you assuming I'm a truck driver lmao 😂😂 Again we are not talking about law. People come to spend a quality time. Even though customers come to spend their earned dollar (sometimes hard earned) nobody tried to say "oh ...your place is expensive ..we cannot afford it"...no ..people pay price you asked. You don't work for tips. If you service is outstanding people always tip you. Of course there is some cheap customers who never give an extra dollar. But there several bad comments about including these 20%. So it's a RED FLAG, that should bring owner's attention. You either in a denial mode or just don't give a f ..ck what people think of you business and their experience...
