I have been coming to this pizza hut for about 15 years now and this has been my go to pizza place. After the experience I had here tonight I will not be returning. It was very busy which is expected on a Saturday night and I was well prepared to wait because of this, especially because Pizza Hut is my favorite pizza chain. We went in to order because we were out running errands and did not have the time to place our order online. When I walked up to the counter the gentleman was immediately rude and stand offish. I asked him how much a 1 topping, large pizza would cost and he proceeded to roll his eyes and tell me it was $11.99. He then proceeds to to ask me: "What do you want then?", in an overly annoyed tone. Uncomfortable I look at my husband and then ask why it wasn't $7.99 like it was when I ordered online. Annoyed, he informed me that only a large pizza with TWO toppings was $7.99. (BIG difference) Okay fine then I order the two topping pizza. Of course he was rude again. He basically threw the change in my hand and I felt super uncomfortable when we went to sit down and wait for our order. My husband then realizes he never gave us a receipt and we didn't even know how long our order would take. We would have probably had to wait an hour for our pizza, which would have been okay if they were courteous to us but the rudeness and lack of hospitality led us to go back up to the counter and ask for our money back. The same guy who took our order slams the pizza trays down (very loudly) and reluctantly goes to the register to refund our money. I have NEVER done that in a restaurant let alone one of my favorite food places. The workers behind the counter talked about us being annoying in front of us. We got our money back and promptly left. I am beyond bummed. We went to this pizza hut at least 2 - 3 times a month since we moved here as it is less than a 3 minute drive from where we live. Read moreI recently started ordering from pizza hut after ordering from papa johns for something different and had very bad experiences at this pizza hut location. I placed an order that was arrived 2 hours later and received the wrong order. I called and ask to speak to a manager when the person I was speaking to said that she was the manager and it was my fault the order was late because I did not answer my phone because I was driving home. I then asked for a refund because my order was wrong, instead of getting two large premium pizza's and soda I received 2 med cheese pizza's and no soda. The manager denied my refund then offered me a $7 store credit which would not have even made up the difference in price. After talking with her and describing what I ordered multiple times because they don't seem to be able to look up what you ordered, they offered me $20 store credit. At this point I just wanted my money back or my order so I asked her to resend my order (what I paid for) about 40 mins after the call back (3 hours since I placed the original order) I get the wrong order AGAIN! I did get 2 large pizza's but only one was the correct order and the other was a plain cheese pizza that was supposed to be a premium pizza with 5 toppings. Read moreI ordered my delivery today, and it was probably the worst experience I ever had.
To start off, my delivery driver called me completely lost. No problem I can understand it being frustrating. I explained the directions to my apartment, told him the number, apologized that it was confusing, and did whatever I could to explain it in detail. He then began yelling at me over the phone, claimed he didnt have my address (it was actually printed on the slip with my order that he handed me), speeding around my neighborhood and being as loud as possible, and actually just as rude as possible. I told him politely to stop treating me the way he was, but I felt like that probably just made him even more upset.
Once he finally arrived he yelled "WHERE ARE YOU" as loud as he could that people inside of apartment complex prob heard him. I was literally standing outside my door to wave him down as well. Then my drink was covered in dirt, hair, etc. Told me not to open it because it was rolling around all over his car.
Called the store and they refunded the tip, but they said they dont actually have delivery drivers so they had Door Dash do it for me. Great nothing can actually be done then. Guess I won't be ordering from...
