From the moment I walked into Sanctuary Kava Bar, I felt an immediate sense of peace and community. The ambient lighting, earthy décor, and gentle music created the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The staff Noah, Jack and Devon were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. As someone new to kava, I had lots of questions, and they patiently explained the different types, effects, and traditional roots of the drink. I tried a classic shell of kava followed by one of their deliciously creative mocktails—smooth, grounding, and genuinely relaxing.

What truly sets Sanctuary apart is the energy. People were laughing, sharing stories, playing board games, and simply being present. It’s rare to find a spot where strangers feel like friends and the vibe is this naturally uplifting without alcohol in sight.

I normally don’t write reviews but Sanctuary Kava, deserves all the love, I’ve been patiently Waiting for this cute little spot to open!! Devon and Noah the owners are wonderful and so knowledgeable and truly care about the community. You genuinely feel like family in seconds everyone is welcomed. And Jack the bartender is funny and has a good positive attitude it’s nice and fresh too see he’s not miserable he’s happy at work which creates and enjoyable vibe. They also hype up other kava bars which is unheard of most of the time others kava bars the workers speak poorly but they only have great things to say about the community! Sanctuary kava bar is exactly what its name suggests, a sanctuary! From the moment you step in, you’re wrapped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It’s the kind of place where time slows down just enough to help you breathe a little deeper. The people here are really what make Sanctuary special.
