I have been visiting this Dunkin donuts for the past 3 years. They were my favorite one right up until they remodeled. The coffee is now lousy, most of the time. As in the last 3 times I've been there this week my xlg Hot coffee tastes very watery! They have a whole bunch of kids working there and I swear the coffee has been watered down. The service is great, when you get someone who knows what they are doing. The air conditioning has to be set at 73! Or higher. I don't understand how they can even work in there when it's so hot with barely any respite from the heat. I would definitely find another job. Lastly, I used to go in and sit and drink my coffee with friends. The atmosphere was very inviting. Comfortable seating and tables. Now, not only does it look very austere and uninviting the seats are uncomfortable so much so that my friends and I get our coffee to go. There were always groups of people drinking, eating and enjoying each other's company, no more. Oh, lest I forget I was in there one day recently, they didn't have the coffee size I wanted, no straws, no napkins and the napkins seem to be a regular thing they have a shortage of, once they offered me some of those brown, paper like, paper towels you find in a restroom. But sometimes they don't even have that. When I asked the young man how was I to drink my ice coffee with no straw, he just shrugged his shoulders. All in all a very unpleasant place to go for a coffee. I only go there now as I can walk. Oops, one more thing, my service dog wasn't allowed in. I told her I would go home and bring the paperwork back with me, the supervisor said absolutely no dogs! I have seizures and my dog is trained to alert me before it happens. Apparently a GED is not required to be a supervisor for this place either. Stay away!! If you must stop there make sure you have the right order. And it's more...
Read moreTruthfully, I don’t know if I’ve ever written a review before, so that’s saying something already. This place was so infuriating. The long line didn’t bother me—I knew there would be some waiting and was content with that.
After getting to the intercom and placing my order for drinks and food, the woman on the other end spoke to me in the most rude way possible. She didn’t let me finish what I was requesting or even ask a question. After another five or so minutes, I pulled up to the window, where I was asked if my coffees were correct in the most rude tone. The person giving me my items through the window is occasionally nice, but today was absolutely rude. She didn’t say you’re welcome or anything polite, and didn’t respond to basically anything I said.
And to top it all off, once I received my meal and said thank you, she made a disgusted face, (the kind of face you make when you hate someone.) Unfortunately, I don’t remember exactly what she said along with it, but it was so inappropriate for a drive-through interaction that I couldn’t stop thinking about it, which is why I’m writing this review.
Whether you believe it or not, I was nothing but polite the entire time and was trying to be understanding of the morning rush. There is absolutely no excuse, no matter how busy it is, to be that rude to a customer. Everyone works early in the morning YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL, and everyone deals with stress. Change your attitude and accept that you have to work, because unfortunately, that’s the way of life But hey the coffees were made alright; though, they forgot the rest of meal! Just...
Read moreMost of the girls that work here are amazing. I'm here multiple times a day getting my large ice (having multiple toddlers will do that to you). Love most of the girls, they know my order, know my kids, we have great laughs. Managers have always been a problem at this location, not sure why. There's also a little girl named Natalia that always wants to argue with customers. She has a big problem doing her job (making coffee) and complains and hisses at customers, even in front of a line of folks. She needs to get out of customer service asap. She would fail so bad at a tipped job in the service industry so she's very lucky she has a job that pays hourly. Though I am not sure how she keeps her job with her lacking customer service skills. It's rlly not a hard job. This location always has a really hard time filling cups up. There's always multiple inches missing from the rim of the cup.... and that's unacceptable at 5$ a coffee. These pictures are from providence location on atwells ave. They have absolutely no problem filling coffee cups. If you do come to this location, I suggest you make sure your getting what you pay for. Only issues with smith st location. Most of the girls and...
