Wendy's — Restaurant in North Reading

Not sure what happened to this place. Moved to North Reading years ago and loved this Wendy's... the staff was nice, the food was quick and usually good and the place was clean. Don't know if they are under new ownership/management... but the place has gone downhill over the last year or so. Went by today and the drive thru line was long. Left to get my kids happy meals from across the street (I hate eating McDonald's, so usually would get kids food there and get mine from Wendy's) and returned to find it was even worse. Went inside with the kids and found the line was 3 deep, but the staff was all over the place. Someone appearing to be a manager was openly arguing with an older employee... others were watching them argue. I stood there for 5 minutes to see just 1 of the 3 people in front of me get their order in before deciding to leave. Mind you, the two were still arguing back and forth and slowly getting orders together in between. On top of that, the floor and tables were as dirty as I have ever seen in this location. It is such a shame, I really liked this place... but now I will have to eat McDonald's when in a rush if things don't change. Someone in ownership or management needs to change something in that...

This Wendy's was disappointing. We were the only 2 customers in the store and we had to wait for the girl to take our order. She appeared and asked "You all set?" I said "No. I haven't ordered yet." She then stared at my wife and I blankly until we figured out that she wanted to take our order. After we received our food my wife asked for hot sauce for her chili. One of the men behind the counter unapologetically told us they do not have that. ??? You're Wendy's, aren't you? They also did not have cheese for the chili. We were given cold fries and treated to the 3 employees loudly arguing in the grill area as our dining entertainment. Usually Wendy's is good for a quick bite but not this one. We...

Me and my girlfriend stopped in for a quick lunch and were greeted by the friendliest cashier I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Lisa is truly a prime example of not only a great employee, but a great human being too. She has a genuine love for everyone who walks in to the store and goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job. If anyone from Wendy’s corporate sees this, I beg of you to give Lisa an award, promotion, or both. You truly do not find people like her anymore, who show up to work every day with a smile. I am not sure if this review will be seen by upper management or not, but if you’re reading this and want some nuggets, go give Lisa a visit!...
